I had J'zargo as a follower and Its been over a week since Ive last seen him. So I waited a few days and he didn't appear and I thought he was dead. Then I went to get new followers and each one I asked said that I already had a someone with me. So what else do I do?

This might sound stupid but did you check for him at the College of Winterhold already? He might also have gotten stuck in a glitch trying to fight animals or some other characters.

If you're playing on PC there is a code you can enter with the command console to work around this. You bring up the command console by pressing "~" key, it's under the ESC key.

Windhelm as the best home in my opinion (once it's completely upgraded). It actually feels like a home unlike the other places. The Solitude home is big but not as cozy as the Windhelm home.

Yes you do need the proper amount of coins but you can just sell all your extra items to raise cash then buy them back from a vendor at a higher price. OR...you could upgrade your speech to get 10% better prices and then buy back.

@connornchase you have to find its word of power on one of the dragon crypt walls like the one you learn back at bleak falls barrow at the start then use a dragon soul from a killed dragon to unlock it

@sumkidasking what he is doing is activating the conversation which buys the house. Except he slows time, breaks from the conversation en stores all his gold. Then when the npc tries to take the gold, he doesn't have any. The npc doesn't notice a thing and you can retrieve all your gold again from the chest without losing a dime.

@kritkus40 The trick is to find a storage quick enough before the NPC tries to take your gold, you could try dropping all your gold as a stack, it might work like that, regardless of the city.

@saur55 Not a super bright idea. The game even tells you that if you put stuff in a house you don't own, it might not be there when you come back later. I don't know what the probability is, but I wouldn't want to lose anything myself.

Depends in wich house you are, most houses with alchemy upgrade comes with an enchanting table, but Breezehome, since its small, doesn't have one. You can get a mod for it though.

You buy the house and upgrades from the stewart of each Hold. Breezehome, you get at Whiterun is the cheapest and most easly one to get. After the Jarl names you Thane of Whiterun you need at least 5000g to buy the house and more 1800g(if I'm not mistaken) to buy all the upgrades.

You need to speak with the stewart when he is near the throne or in the dining tables, if he is outside(the area where the dragon was captured), you don't have the option to buy the house.

I'm not sure if this is required but, I think you should have the Breezehome decoration guide with you, its a book that you get when you buy the house. Also, like I said before, you can only buy the house and house upgrades when the stewart is near in the throne or in the dinning tables in front of it, if you speak to him when he is outside, you will not have the options to buy anything.

You have to lower your hunger, otherwise people will come after you everywhere.

Here's what I did, I sneaked around falkreath, made my way to the falkreath palace, and drank the blood of one of the servants sleeping upstairs. I think it was the upper right room. You must go there when he is asleep. If this doesn't work, there is a video around here that explains how to do it :)

Don't ever let your vampire reach lvl 5 in hunger, thats when everyone comes after ya xD

@F3ARTHEREAPER17 Just a tip, when you go to the Shrine of talos, choose to go to jail. if you follow the quest within the jail, you can escape with madanach, get all of your items back, all of your bounty removed, and get some sick new armour that's worth like 4000. much better than the 900 coins you get from the elysis guy

Thats Lydia, your housecarl. you get her in whiterun from talking to the jarl after u save the city from a dragon attack. she's wearing full dwarven armour, u get it from Markath, inside the excavation site in the understone keep. go to the armory section there, look around and you'll find it in a room with 4 statues. bring lots of lockpicks. its on the right hand side behind a metal gate.
