  • Jesus Christ.

The Visual Effects are PHENOMENAL Trea :D

I agree, Lansing does need a long rest after flying away from the Desert, and of course your amazing skills need a rest too :)

Well Done Trea. You deserve a medal for this :P

  • Hey man thanks very much! That means alot, I start visual effects and animation school on Jan 4th and hope to work on some big films not long after graduation. The school is a year long.

  • Good Luck Trea :D

Your students are going to be following in your footsteps :)

  • LOL.. no wait.. I am going to be a student at the school.. not an instructor.. I am no where near THAT talented but I am flattered. This will be to refine and expand my skills from what I have currently learned on my own.

  • Really? Dang i must of got it mixed up lol

but then again still, good luck there :D

  • Amazing second part! The special effects are outstanding, particularly like the take off sequence of the "Impulse" and the materialising at the beginning. And the first destination of this ingenious scientist? LOL. Well, have a good time there, Dr. Lansing. After that hard work alone in the desert, you really need that break. ;)

  • Fantastic work, Trea! Bravo! It looks brilliant! Now...all you need is aliens pursuing him, like I suggested, to give it background suspense! :)

    Ade

  • Your ship is very well modeled, I cant believe how much detail you put into it!

  • Well.... I must confess that I did not model this ship, I did however convert it to Vray, animated it, set up the lighting, added the engine glow, and changed the logo with some help from Chris. Someone else created the Mesh and it was on one of those free websites. I definately do not yet have the skill to create something like that from scratch but thats what I am going to school for soon :)

  • Very nice, was fun to watch for sure, you are getting better at acting and your fx are improving as well, great job on the ship and where is this planet of naked woman, lol

  • hahaha.. its a secret.. but Lansing has to get his warp engines online before he can make it there :)

  • I can say it....how much u can pay?:)

  • Good job man, looks like you need a crew for your ship though...

  • Well... it is much smaller than the Enterprise and its automated so I can probably do it without a crew. :)

  • That's even better than the first!

  • Thanks! This originally was supposed to be all one part but it ended up being about 17 mins long so I broke it up. :)

  • Absolutely amazing! Those effects are draw-dropping! And I was really was open mouthed when the ship took off! I'm looking forward to the future of this series!

  • Thanks alot! The ship takeoff sequence was my favorite also.. took a while.. the next CG effect I need to make is the ship jumping to warp speed which will take some work.. but Lansing still has work to do on the ship and things to test before everything is tip top. He is still working on the star drive so that he can travel faster.

  • Wow! Fantastic!

  • AMAZING SECOND PART! Gosh I'm everywhere in the webseries:) 5/5

  • Well... only in this pilot.. I didnt want to have a pilot that is supposed to get everyone interested and it is only me on the screen.. sometimes that gets boring. I have several episodes planned from here, some with guest stars like you and Ade, others with just me and maybe some new mystery characters. I just got to find the time to do it and have to know that people want it. Now that the pilot is done I dont expect the other episodes to take as long once I start them.
