  • The colors are too " strong " on the amoled screen. That's just my opinion, but the movie on the HD2 is better, because it's "natural"

  • i have an hd2 and i promise you both the transformer movies look like blueray... don't make a decision from this video..a video of a video always looks worse.

  • Nexus one is better it has 16 mil colors

    but HD2 looks cooler ;3

  • on the ht2 did you change the backlight? looks like its on the lowest setting...

  • the hd2 has better video quality and is more natural than the other phone

  • The nexus one wins because of "Amoled Display" i have a nexus one and played with the HD2. The HD2 screen is just basic. like anyother smartphone screen out there its just bigger which is good for movie watching. But would you buy a 65inch tv screen that shows black and white? or a 65inch tv screen that is HD. In other words im just saying. if you looking for a media phone and want quality go for the nexus one. if u just want a big screen go for the HD2.

  • IMHO AMOLED is a bit overrated. Although it does have a higher color gamut, the contrast is often too exaggerated (probably on purpose) from the factory. The power savings initially promised by LEDs has also become a moot point for many people since it seems to have a bigger impact on non-portable devices.

Maybe when the technology matures, they'll stop trying to lure in the average customer with such sneaky tactics. Until then, I still feel LCDs are more accurate and easier on the eyes.

  • both look the same to me..that being said, BIGGER IS BETTER in this case lol.

  • It sucks that windows mobile limits the color output on the hd2, only 65k

  • I myself am aware of the differences in the type of screens each of these phones utilize. I made the video with consideration for average consumers who have both phones in mind.

  • This is somewhat pointless...the Nexus has an Amoled screen, so there is no need to compare it with the HD2. Almost any phone with an Amoled screen, will be better than the rest...

  • can't really tell from the video. Which in your opinion is better?

  • I knew this video was going to leave people guessing. The colors are more vivid and rich on the Nexus One. the HD2 produces washed out colors. This is especially evident if you notice the black levels.

  • @mikeyrokschicago i'm sorry but i think the hd2 has better resolution

  • that blue light is so f annoying lol

  • Yeah, I guess it could be after a while, but it was because the Nexus had a waiting text message.
