EV's with lead acid. slow, short range, and expansive but better by 200% that MDI

1-I am well aware there is a possibility MDI are a fraud, just like any company, maybe you haven't noticed global economics lately or the previous tech stock crash. I have personaly worked in area's where the technology had merit but the company was only using it for greed.

2-When MDI investigations come to conclusion we will see, wont we, if you turn out to be right I will be happy to accept it.

3- the technology has merit for some applications, e.g. closed communities, industrial sites, airports ect.

There is already a Air Powered Car from a different party in operational trials in Fruit Markets (Sydney i think).

4- I wouldn't let anyone else near the product either until it is completly'ready. too much biast, reverse engineering ect.

5-Just look at how Top Gear handled the Tesla electric car, the car is pretty solid for a completly new vehicle, but they didnt give it a fair go.

6-You clearly have not studied the engineering of MDi's engine, it is designed from scratch for the purpose. You may be right about range issues, we will have to wait and see.

7-You seem rather biast about Ev,Hybrid tech. I sugest you look up the "Tzero"from AC Propulsion the people who make the drive train for the Tesla. The Prius for what it is meant to be meathead is an excellent package, if you want to flog it, it does go (it has two motors).

MDI's engine relies on uneducated nit wit's being impressed by piston lag etc. It's Bull shit. I am absolutely corret about range and speed that are set by the tank energy. Even a impossible 100% efficient air motor would only give a 20km range at bicycle speed. It's A CON

$A44k New, Hyundai Getz body, 3 phase ac motor lithion iron phosphate batteries, apx 120km range, $1.50 p.100km charge cost, plenty of power. If you want more range or power just add more batteries. I am curious where this car fits into your twisted opinion of what this technology can do?

Jeepers I can't find it there is so much air car cack. The guts was there is no magic bullet, BUT stuff I like / have an involvement in include bio harvesting of CO to methanol from exhaust gas, variable torque wind turbines, vacuum solar tubes for hot water, algae engineered for oil production, cyclone steam (direct biofuel fuel to power conversion) lithium EV's (if the price of batteries and consistency improves 10 fold), deep hot rock for thermal power, water turbines in tidal flows, etc

And turbo diesel vehicles sized for the load, car pooling with biometric ID for safety, integration of road and rail (get the rigs on the rails) using GPS real time tracking, recumbent enclosed bikes with dedicated cycle ways. There's a bucket load more but I'm sticking with what I can cope with. Recumbent bicycle, developing solid fuel steam engine burning fast growing trash crop, solar hot water, double glazing, turbo diesel for transport

Fizz, I couldnlt find it either, Your sugestions are all worth exploring, that's what R&D is all about. I have had a lot to do with large scale solar pv and thermal and as you would know the biggest issue is always storage. R&D in this area has lead to many technologies that may or may not work out, some I have followed for well over a decade. The whole idea of R&D is to look at all possibilities with a scientific approach. The simplist is usually the best. 3955

The sound level is between a gas car and an electric car. It only sounds different from a gas car because the sound comes from air expansions, not little gas explosions.

Remember, if your electricity comes from green sources (solar, wind), this produces 0 pollution emissions. Even if charged with off-peak electricity, the emissions would be far less than the net emissions from burning gas (plus the refining costs, transportation, steel and oil used in a "real car").

So are you saying this is more silent than gasoline cars? I got the impression it was louder, given the BBC reporter who said it sounds like a motorboat.

Gas cars are loudest (even with the muffler), Air Car less noisy, with electric cars being very, very quiet, where you don't know if the car is "on" or not.

I forgot to mention that diesel engines make a huge racket too.

If they make a muffler system like gas cars, the Air Car won't be silent, but pretty darn close.

If the compressed air in the tanks of this car it's so more compressed than usual compressed air tanks, how can the hose (used to recharge the tanks)handle such pressure??? The tanks of the car use carbon fiber to ensure it will resist such pressure and not just explode in case of colision, but just broke.
