Just think; This was at the height of the disco era, and people use to come from the discos and run into the Ramones after bar hopping. I remember a friend of mine saying he didn`t think they were a real band, that they were a comedy act. PJ Soles I heard thought the same thing when they were filming Rock and Roll High School. People thought the same thing about the Beatles. They were just too far out there.
