I remember laughing real hard when he got sentenced to 40 years for trying to murder that judge. Other than witness testimony, the evidence against Hale consists of an inaudible section of tape and a text message "I can't have anything to do with this" gathered in an operation launched for clearly political reasons.
I have no opinion on the Strom case, but it wouldn't surprise me - fringe ideologies do attract creeps who aren't quite good enough at demagoguery to get into the big leagues.
I don't oppose tax "dodging" by anyone.
Steele wasn't allowed to argue that the tape was altered.
