  • The most basic notes for the intro are easy. You have them wrong.

  • ahahahahaah

  • Cool dude you and I got the same bass ;) good cover though yes wrong tuning ;)

  • wow you have little to no idea how to play that

  • Nothing you do is even close to being right.

First of all, tune to A#CFA#D#, that's the bass tuning Peter from In Flames uses, which makes it all a whole lot easier.

Second, if you can't figure out what is being played just by listening to it, get a decent tab and learn the song from that.

I don't even see the point of posting this on youtube... Can't you hear it yourself? Nothing of what you play even slightly fits together with the song ..

  • what the fuck was that? not a single tone right...

  • haha

  • Woot, wearing the exact same T shirt right now ;D

    Tune your bass man :P

    Sounds nothing like it ;)

  • @MrEstachio As I have since learned :D I now look back at this and ask myself WTF I was doing trying to play In Flames in Drop D.

  • @M1tchrix

Hahahahha, glad you saw it yourself too :)

Keep the Metal spirit alive!! ;)

  • You should use your pinky more on the fretting hand. They tuned to C Standard on Reroute to Remain. You can tune every string one semitone on all string (from the standard 5-string tuning BEADG) to get the tuning they used.

I play drop A on my 5-string, and it really isn't floppy at all, it's just the B-string that's dropped.

  • Yeah I was trying to play in drop D when the song's in drop C. I tried tuning to drop C yesterday and I now need thicker gauge strings...

  • @M1tchrix Actually, the song is in drop A#...

btw I think Peter uses some wierd tunings on his bass instead of this

  • @HallowedPointWoW Geeze, drop A, those strings would be flapping around in the slightest of breezes lol.

  • @M1tchrix Its's not about your strings, but about the song...

Oh wait a minute... I just noticed that you play a 5 string bass, so the standard tuning is BEADG... B is a full note higher than C... and A# is just a half note lower than B... So what's the problem? You use 4 strings instead of 5, on a 5 string guitar, and you tuned these 4 strings to C D E F or whatever...? Why don't you use the 5th string?

  • @HallowedPointWoW The tab I found wasn't a 4 string one. I might be able to find one and that would certainly make things easier.

  • sounds really horrible, even i play it better, and i checked the tabs out yesterday

  • Delete plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

  • TUNE !!! . It's just horrible

  • wtf!!...dude delete this 1 plz

  • That's pretty bad... It's played totally wrong, can't you tell by listening to the main riff?

  • DUDE YOUR A BASSIST! wheres your aggresion and attitude! play with sum anger and pluck and slap hard bruv ;) good song choice :) awesome tune :)

  • world of warcraft plx
