@MsVick2011 there is nothing wrong with that , it happens to me a lot, but being a guy, i swallow hard so no one can see, i guess i am a softie but proud of it too ..tc
@catzrkatz I would love to have been able to help ... i can't say i have heard of it , i will ask around my friends if i find anything out i will let you know tc
Yes...and that was one of the many things that endeared him to me so. NON pretentious, NON pompous...even though he eventually made it big and had money, you never would have known it by his personality. In his mind and in his heart, he was one of "the rest of us"...LOL...
Thank you Eddie for posting another winner! (of course, they ALL are!)... Waylon was an "ol' softee" too~~~so it is fitting! I found it so touching so hear him, in one of his interviews, say that he is not afraid to express personal emotion~~~gotta love him~~~the "tough and tender outlaw"...LOL...it's what makes him so darn endearing to all of us, I think...the "teddy bear effect"...LOL...
@teddie488 See...you identify with him... And I love his humility...no ego there. Just a down-home guy. He commented once in an interview (or maybe it was in his book...not sure)...that he didn't fit in in L.A. That couldn't be more true. (And I mean that in ONLY a good way...lol...)
@RevLFD Sure he wouldn't have fitted in L.A. i don't be lieve he liked the glitz and the glamour and the pretentiousness of some of the rich, he remembered where his roots lay and who he was...thats why we loved him thanks Lisa
When I listen to this song, it kind of makes me feel sad, but in a good so I want to listen to it again and again. Thanks again, for posting this song.
Waylon l will always love you on my own crazy way! :-)

I am still amazed at the power of music and Waylon is the definition of power when it comes to music in my opinion.

Really great song, but I didn't hear Johnny Cash sing on it... title makes you think he's on the track.
