  • Hey! you sure show major improvement, man! That's great! I play guitar and keyboard, but have never played harmonica, though. I see you studied from a Book by Bobby Joe. I found a DVD with Hal Leonard, but i am not sure if it includes play-along tunes. Did your book by Mel Bay include a cd? Thanks and keep up the good work!

  • Thanks. I have bought and borrowed quite a few harmonica books. The Bobby Joe Holman one is really good though as it comes with a play along cd. Each track plays twice, once with harmonica, once without. That is what helped me out the most. You can play with the harmonica track and it is good because when you are out of time or hit the wrong note you can hear it. Cheers. Ali

  • I started learning in April last year. My main practice came from a book ny Bobby Joe Holman which is brilliant and use a Mel Bay Play along cd.

  • how have you been learning? lessons or books and cds?
