this is a little known part of history, poland saved western mainland europe from communism by defeating the soviets against all odds while on the verge of defeat, the main powers were bled dry and wery of war after ww1 and the soviets sought to exploit this by causing revolutions then invading, stalin was chief polictical commissar on the south west front and was personally humiliated,when he took control in poland he sought out and took revenge on polish army personnel and their families
So the Poles won the fist war against Soviet Union/Russia in the 20s and then Soviets brutally destroyed Poland from the East when NS Germany invaded from the West. Katyn massacre of Polish military by NKVD was pay back for Poles beating Soviets/Russia in first war.
Finns are the only ones to not suffer horrible defeat, mass murder, enslavement by Soviets/NKVD.
Everyone else - Poles and Ukrainians suffered the worst.

My take was the Poland was independent until National Socialist Germany invaded Poland from the West and the Soviet Union now under Stalin invaded Poland from the East, Poland was a mess for the entire World War II and was treated horribly by both the National Socialist Germans and the Soviets - Katyn.

Well, there was a Cossack uprising, thats 1. Later we were untied in common struggle. But then Polish nationalists in 1920 betrayed Ukrainians and signed peace with Russia and partitioning Ukraina. Pilsudski tried to prevent it, but he had not much power before 1926. Ukranians remembered that until after WW2 when they were suppressed (1 000 000 times worse) by the Soviets.

Starożytni grecy = Ci spod Troi byli blondynami. Czy uważasz, ze dzisiejsi Grecy nie są ich potomkami. Po prostu kod genetyczny odpowiedzialny za czarne włosy i ciemne oczy jest silniejszy od tego jaśniejszego;)

this is a little known part of history, poland saved western mainland europe from communism by defeating the soviets against all odds while on the verge of defeat, the main powers were bled dry and wery of war after ww1 and the soviets sought to exploit this by causing revolutions then invading, stalin was chief polictical commissar on the south west front and was personally humiliated,when he took control in poland he sought out and took revenge on polish army personnel and their families

So the Poles won the fist war against Soviet Union/Russia in the 20s and then Soviets brutally destroyed Poland from the East when NS Germany invaded from the West. Katyn massacre of Polish military by NKVD was pay back for Poles beating Soviets/Russia in first war.
Finns are the only ones to not suffer horrible defeat, mass murder, enslavement by Soviets/NKVD.
Everyone else - Poles and Ukrainians suffered the worst.

Did the USSR led by the Red Army of Leon Trotsky invade Poland in 1920? What was the result? My take was the Poland was independent until National Socialist Germany invaded Poland from the West and the Soviet Union now under Stalin invaded Poland from the East, Poland was a mess for the entire World War II and was treated horribly by both the National Socialist Germans and the Soviets - Katyn.

Well, there was a Cossack uprising, thats 1. Later we were untied in common struggle. But then Polish nationalists in 1920 betrayed Ukrainians and signed peace with Russia and partitioning Ukraina. Pilsudski tried to prevent it, but he had not much power before 1926. Ukranians remembered that until after WW2 when they were suppressed (1 000 000 times worse) by the Soviets.
