The riff at the very beginning of the video and the very end of the video reminds me of the beginning of the Rush song, "Bastille day". the first song off of their third album, Caress of Steel. This year has been absolutely brutal on the metal community. Dio passes roughly half way through May, Paul dies no more than a week later, and roughly a month ago, KISS's first manager Bill Accoin died of sudden heart failure. To cheesily quote an AC/DC song title, may the three of them Rock in Peace.

The Rev seemed to feature more heavily in last (?) year's Revolver Golden Gods awards, so I guess they each got recognition by different magazines and it just turned out that way.

The reason why The Rev wasn't mentioned is because the band didn't care that much about his death.  They quickly made an album after his death, they were going to name the album foREVer but they didn't. I am not saying that they didn't care about The Rev, but they didn't show it too much. I think they are kinda assholes and lost some respect for the band.
