I'm glad she is standing up and fighting for what's right instead of just accepting it. I also think if anyone does any REAL research, they will learn that homebirth is just as safe (or safer, considering the very video we are commenting on!) for low risk women. It is not dangerous. If you have a crazy medical condition, then it's not for you. But for the majority of women, it's a perfectly safe and wonderful option.

Focus please, no disrespect intended but lets stay focused! Home birth is dangerous to say the least and I for one am dead against it. However, the purpose of this video is to alert the public that pests sometimes slip in between the cracks. And when it happens normal people must take appropriate action. No one, even this self absorbed sadistic Doctor, is above the law.
Women should STRONGLY consider a homebirth- no one is ridicules or tells you what to do.Some doctors make fun of fat pregnant women; some hurry women to give birth because of a golf date. Some tell women to have a tubal ligation if they think she has "too many" children or prescribe birth control within a few weeks after delivery. Babies are a business to many people and seen as a financial or career burden - no wonder we have such negativity in this world regarding babies and children.

Dr. Pierce is an excellent OB/Gyn. This is a gross exaggeration and I don't belive it for a minute.
