  • Great footage Mitch! Should go back their soon and film some more. How many more councils do u have to film to have filmed every council in NSW

  • @aussiegarbo80 Already have gone back for more videos, just haven't uploaded anything yet. I won't be going to EVERY council, but still plenty to do for NSW, pretty much knocked off Sydney with the exception of new trucks.

  • For sure the arm has been sped up, you can hear it slamming every time its retracted. MacDonald Johnson would making alot of money of you guys. Probably quick for this video, but how long can you keep it up for?? Trying doing that with more traffic, narrower streets, trees more parked cars. Where you are is almost a one armers heaven. Whats your pick up rate when arm is at factory setting??

  • @Tangimana53 No doubt this arm's been sped up... just check out how quick it is going up and down! If you see my garbage video from Bankstown, there's another truck in there with altered settings. Out in western Sydney I've noticed the arm runs look pretty cruisy, massive difference when you hit the northern beaches though.

  • What a fast and skilled driver. Don't see many drivers that good. It's a like and a fav.

  • do you know what type of bins they are?

  • @SitaEnvironmental Nylex... new bins are Sulos.

  • this has to be in my top 10 of random vids ive come across on yt this wouldnt work where i live in england theres too many cars parked along the roads and most ppl wouldnt get their bins out

oh yea and what a wicked truck would like to know how far it can reach

and 3.15 that bin refused to fall (lid power lol)

  • good video mate :D

  • I live in Bankstown and have lived in other parts of Sydney and these garbos are the best!

  • these drivers r like the moreland ones lol

  • Dude, this trucks crazy with its claw. fastest ive everseen. Is this a GenIV?

  • Yeh very speedy truck indeed and yes it's a MkIV body.

  • Damn accurate driver, and he's leaving them all standing up too - not flinging them everywhere.

Looks like the lifter has been sped up a bit, nice clean truck too, great one Mitch. Thanks.

  • Great work, 5/5

  • Awesome! now this is the real meaning of garbage truck entertainment :D the driver could probably get his whole run done within the hour hahahaha :D

  • nice truck really like it but it looks old

  • Nice vid. One thing I have noticed with Australian trucks is that they all have swing out.

  • nice job

  • Niiice as truck! I wish there was a 6x4 recycler doin my place :D

  • Oh who knows, might be something to look forward to with the new contract? :)

  • Hopefully who ever wins the contract will use 6x4 trucks, it's silly usin a 4x2 for recycling lol

  • is this an iveco engine and what body is that

  • Engine = Cummins ISC03

    Body = MacDonald Johnston

  • Nice footage Mitch and a very nice truck!! This truck must have been one of the last MKIV Recycler's made. I wonder if it has the Cummins ISC03 or ISC05 engine. Shame that their aren't as many of these great trucks around to see. But definately a great, skilled driver who knows what he's doing!!

  • Thanks Alex, appreciate it! You'd be pretty correct about this being one of the last MkIVs made - these recyclers only came out when Bankstown turned to co-mingled recycling, and that was some time during late 06, then shortly after these MkIVs they got themselves some GenVs (I'd say it's a ISC03, just has that sound to it). Yep, not many of these MKIV recyclers around in Sydney; only found in Ku-Ring-Gai, Hornsby, Bankstown, Campbelltown, Blacktown and 1 or 2 in Sutherland. Awesome driver :D
