Had the honor to meet Carlos Ortiz My half-brother Bobby Scanlon was ranked # 3 and Paolo Rosi # 2. Hope someday the contenders of that great era can make it in the hall
what about one of our hardest worker in late fifties and early sixties mr Gaspar Indio Ortega if you look at his record I remember everytime there was a fighter cancelling he stepped in , almost fought every two weeks , he lives in Providence R.I I think.....bunuelo
mando was the golden boy in his time. he was young an admits he didnt know enough at age 17 when he started in boxing. his battle with drugs an alcohol where beat by him, not until it took what he could of been in the boxing world he still did great things with sobriety. working with at risk kids in his town of long beach ca.i met mando 1 month before he died, at the california boxing induction hall of fame at the sports man lodge, studio city ca.RIP an god bless you Mando Ramos
HEY! Mr. MUNIZ (ARMANDO) HE WAS MY SPANISH TEACHER AT RUBIDOUX HIGH SCHOOL. SALUDOS DESDE LA CIUDAD DE MEXICO. LA NETA HE KICKED "MANTEQUILLA" NAPOLES ASS, PERO LE ROBARON LA PELEA. Mr MUNIZ U R #1.
This is not the forum for this. How many fights have been a ref for? It's easy to comment sitting on your fat a$^$4 in front of a TV drinking a beer. Also, what type of life acheivement awards do you have. The more you talk the more stupid you sound. Why don't you send me an email and tell me your life story. I bet it's not worth s*^*6
RIP Efren Torres, he passed away today at age 65, you'll be missed

Bobby "Boogaloo" Watts might have been champion had it not been for Marvin Hagler.
Carlos Ortiz is underrated; "Schoolboy" Bobby
is the all-time crowdpleaser.
