Not to bad of a movie, I was able to stick with it to the end, I can't say that about many movies on youtube. Billy Bob Thornton is a good actor. As for the plot is a bit confusing, I would still watch the movie, it's worth watching.

It was actually, pretty good something different for a change in stead of the mainstream stuff out there these days. I think my dad who's in his 70's could actually enjoy it and that says a LOT.

The songs the location the acting was pretty good. Not a great movie, but well done. Ending could have used more mystery. The lead actress was great. Billy is always spot on. Hog and the hillbilly tribe was brilliant. I give it a B -

I gotta say I thoroughly enjoyed this film. I was skeptical at first, but I found Thornton and Blount's performances to be very compelling. It's not a flawless film, but what it lacks it makes up for in depth. All in all a very poetic and touching story. Nice.

It reminds me of "A Love Song for Bobby Long"; you know, one of those unique movie-gems with great atmosphere.

According to the ending credits, Stephen Trask of "Hedwig and the Angry Inch" fame had a hand in the music recording. Awesome.

Reminded me in some parts a lot of reading H.P Lovecraft at parts of the film. Naturally it wasn't a horror film. But it had some elements. The aliens after the farmer etc from his short stories.

Decent little film. Worth at least once over =)

If you never had hope for birth a life loss and beening married you and losing your family I doubt we could understand this movie. The thing that I hope you can understand that poverty breeds crime and it is pot, guns, fighting, and moonshine at least not have that. To survive that is something few people do can do. Faced with such poverty live so wild where your life is not free to face prison, immigrations, and walk away from it all. Love is not money real love is free.

So mote it be!
