The Summers clan is the mightiest superhero family out there, but it's a double edged sword. On one hand, it has some of the strongest, bravest heroes ever ( ex. Cyclops, Havok, Jean Grey, Rachel Summers, Cable, Nate Grey, etc.) and on the other, some of the most dangerous, lethal villains ever ( Madeline Pryor, the Goblin Queen, Gabrel Summers a.k.a Vulcan, both Jean and Rachel when they go dark).

FYI rachel is the only child born from scott and jean and the only rachel in all existence. which is probably why jean and scott in 616 will never have a child together.

the phoenix source of high level power is the energies of future generations which can explain why there are no other rachels..means her existence is so powerful that no other rachel can be.

also, no other offspring has possessed the phoenix force ;-)

The Summers bloodline is truly a fascinating one. Cyclops may be the debatable weakest mutant in that family, but trust me when I say that its a bad thing when you are the weakest in the Summers family. God I love Cyclops and Cable and Emma and Vulcan and Pryor and X-Man.

Cyclops is far from weak. He's one of the best leaders in the MU and he has a super powerful cannon constanly shooting out of his face. Yeah he might not have the psi powers like everyone else but he holds his own.

Yeah which is why I said debateable. It's him or Havok at the bottom of the totem pole. Still it's not Cyclops' powers that make him a beast, it's the way he uses it. In the end it is only concussive force and in the end only serves as bludgeoning force, whereas Havok can absorb cosmic energy which is more useful that concussive energy. Too bad they can't fight each other with their powers though, but in the end Scott IMO is better seeing as he has better control over his powers.

Yes, I agree with that. But, like I said, it was never *official*. I like Adam X, and I would prefer him WELL OVER Vulcan. Fabian Nicieza said he would like to pick the storyline back up again, as it was never determined how many *actual* Summers brothers there were. Adam X does have a VERY strong case, all I'm saying is that it wasn't made officially canon in the books. Only hinted at :)
