方言腔? That's such a racist comment. Xiao wrote the song based on his own life experience. Taiwanese is the language spoken at home and was his first language as well. Although I didn't come from a family that speaks a single word of Taiwanese, I was just as moved by his voice in the song. That is his heritage and there's nothing to hide. Most African Americans sing/rap in their unique ways too. Yet you don't see them being judged by what you referred to as "intolerable accent".
