recently dled this app. for some reason, it will not email. i click send and the email page closes and nothing happens, it never gets to my inbox. have you run into this problem?
Thanks! I was trying to figure out how to keep the scan in colour instead of black and white. Great application, I really like it and now I like it even more.
Wait, what? So this is not an OCR type of program? IT's basically taking a jpeg and making it a PDF? Meh. I thought it was recognizing the characters on the page and turning it into an editable document. Pass.
whats d big fuss??? one just takes a picture of a document and send it by e-mail from his phone...this system has been used for over 2 years now..nothing innovative at all
This is crap...its just turns a picture to a pdf...no biggie. You can just view the picture for reference, dont even need this app. A good app would be to turn the picture to actual letters so you can edit the document!
my problem with this review is that you don't into any detail about the quality of the scan. Everyone knows we can't use digital cameras as a replacement to dedicated scanners because the lack of focus and detail of the image, yet you didn't even touch on it, which tells me, the quality is likely pretty poor
All this is is an app that takes a picture from your device, crops it and turns it PDF, all of which really should be features that are built into phones as advanced as the iPhone.
Something this app should have is the ability to save as other image filetypes, or even better, identify letters on a page and turn them to a text or pdf file.
@ramo1050 - I got my Scan2PDF long time ago and it works great... iPhone and Apple again are just jumping the life into the old stuff and try to spin it as new technology that has nothing to do with reality.

I'm going to thumb this down because you should have put a link to download the file to see how "well" it performs.
It doesn't look like it does any kind of OCR so it's not like you can actually "fill" out the form.
Also I'd love to know how this app does on 3G or below iPhones and equivalent iPod Touches.
Basically it looks like it is just skipping you a step from taking a picture and then running OCR on the picture.
Scanners are $30 go buy one! ...or go to Kinko's.
