We broke out into a large clearing in the weather and were able to see the tanker from over a mile away, they then decided to move into pre-contact. Thats when we hit the next area of clouds and they did nose over when he disappeared that final time.

Wow, that is scary... I take it the weather was too high to re-fuel above it? what is the ceiling for an in flight re-fuel anyways?
