Not only does Jon Schmidt give us great music, but he gives great devotionals too. Jon told the youth here in Boise Idaho his secret to playing such great music. I had been stuck on a song that I wanted to finish. I kept trying and the words wouldn't come.As soon as I got home I ran up to my room to try Jon's secret, which was that he prays and asks God for guidance and inspiration.As soon as I finished my prayer, I was able to finish my song called "Believe" by Sarah Moore. @loveuallso it is worth it trust me.. I took 5 years of lessons and at first I got so frustrated, but my mom made me keep going. then once you learn how to play..its great. it is worth it. you should get some lessons then! :)
@loveuallso I never took any lessons, and still I can play this songs and many others. Just buy a piano (or keyboard) and try! I've learned myself to play the piano and to read notes. Just search in Google "How to play -the song you want- on piano" or "-the song you want- piano tutorial". It's easy!
I play this song to but I play it much slower and much more building.. it almost sounds like you're trying to just get it over with.. play it with feeling and write in some of your own dynamics and make it interesting!
