  • You all know that boy you just called a nobody? He just grew up to be the next Justin beiber. And that little girl at school u called, "stupid" she just became the next j.k. Rowling. That high school boy you just called gay, he's now living a life of luxury in LA. That middle school girl u doubted on becoming a writer, she's still working at her goal this second and everyday gets closer to becoming the next C.S. Lewis, thats me... The kid with a dream

  • @SpockTheKitty That kid which everyone called an idiot is becoming the next Stan Lee.

  • Wow what a fuckin fag good for wht he had to go through

  • @650Mexican Really? Are you aware that the SCHOOL was punished and had to pay $900,000 for what this kid went through while they stood by and watched? I watched this in health class and it brought me to tears. It is NOT good what he had to go through, it is an issue that must be stopped because kids are taking their own lives over it. It doesn't matter if someone is overweight, doesn't get good grades, doesn't look perfect, or is gay-- bullying is an issue that schools should take more seriously

  • anyone know where I could view this movie online?

  • Backing down to a bully is the worst thing you can do. Your weakness makes them stronger. They are feeders on weakness. Stand up to them and they have no power over you. Just be careful not to become a bully in the process. You must remain compassionate to everyone including the bullies.

  • Bullying is like dripping acid on your very soul!

  • And wit bringing it ta history class they shouldn't do tha cuz ik tha ppl dnt wanna be sittin in class talkin bout gays ik I wouldn't...The teachers dnt needa be teaching kids tha in school....

  • You kno no matter wat kids at school r gonna have a reason for bullying. Bein gay, ugly, fat, skinny, pretty, sexii, smart...no matter wat...their jus immature lil kids that needa grow up n stop bein assessss....n bein gay that's their choice. People are gonna like wat they like. That's why in most states its becoming legal..SO GROW UP AND STOP BULLYING CUZ YALL R THE REASON THAT PPL R LOOSING THEIR LIFES VUZ THEY GET TIRED OF YALLS(BULLIERS) NOSINCE!!!!!

  • school these days are so retarded! Because of bulling. because the schools won't allow self-defense when someone is punching you, believe me it happen to me before. I did all they say to do when someone is bulling you, and I got the same amount of punishment as he did. Why, because I fought back.

  • Bullying is wrong but teaching all school children an approved version of homosexual history is wrong too.

  • @moonrunrs Why?

  • @moonrunrs -I'm gay myself and I don't think they should be teaching history of gays and whatever. Whatever history we have made in the GLBTQ community should just talked about in regular history class. Why have a separate section of education devoted to gays. I mean, I'm totally against bullying but I also think that everyone needs to be shown equal respect. Teaching about the history of gays isn't going to accomplish any of that. Its only going to encourage more bullying.

  • It's about time we show kids how stop being a pussy! We use teach are kids to be strong, whatever happened to that? This is what happens when you have no father or a gay effeminatet father, you need a real man/father to help guide a boy into a man! Thank you Pop for teaching me the right way to be a man, you were hard on me, and now I understand why! I don't cry to the govt or anyone else if I am "bullied" I can take care of myself!

  • damn man i thank my parents for made me a strong kid x) i never was bullied be strong nerds and gay ppl

  • This is when u defend you're self from a bully. With force. When u can't call/get help, or u can't run and you're in big time danger. Sometimes force is the only way to keep a bad situation getting worse.

  • The part that sickens me the most is, schools say they take appropriate action BUT THEY DON'T. I was a victim of bullying during my last year of middle-school, it escalated to the point where I fought back, I punched the person who was bullying dead in the face. I got Out of School Suspension for a week and if I did anything again, I would go to Juvenal School, They got detention..... WTF IS THE MATTER WITH PEOPLE THESE DAYS!! Really??? They get detention and I get the possibility of prison.

  • Jamie Nabozny came to my school today and showed us this movie and gave a speech i was bullied i hope this taught the bullies a good lesson

  • One of the worst things about homophobes is that they pretend they're being persecuted. What they consider "being bashed" always ends with them being insulted at the worst. When it comes to when those ignorant people "bash" others, somebody is injured or killed. Sometimes you don't even need to be a homosexual for some homophobe to bully you like this.

  • @tarabuka100 there would be no point of going to martial arts classes here because all the bullies do martial arts so therefore in the end it won't save your life.

  • Bullies are going lower and lower for bullying homo's just because they're different.

  • Omg, this was soo sad :P even tho im not homo, It was very inspiring when we watched it today in Journalism class. I was tearing up D: But still, it was a very interesting movie, and i liked it.

Btw, at the beginning at the movie, there was a pic of kid in a football uniform who committed suicide because of bullying but i cant remember his name :P I think thats what it was.. but im not shure.. Anyway, does anyone noe who that kid was??

  • People! we need to distinguish between gay bulling and normal people bullying. These are two different issue even some are have connecetion. Because gay does not always get bully. And regular person also get bully sometime and some where. However, I agree every kid should be protected but not only gay emphysized to be protected....

  • @tarabuka100 hahaha! :D I so agree with you!

  • My class watched a video on this. I'll never look at bullying the same way.

  • I watched this today at school, it was very inspiring. It changed my view on how I look at things.

  • I'd really like to watch this movie, but my school-Ashland high school won't show it. Imagine that, I think their afraid to look their past in the eye n deal wit it!

  • @abigale4life OMG you go to Ashland High? I can't believe that they won't show it! They must be afarid!

  • I'm ashamed to say that this is the school i went to as a teen. I don't understand how nothing was done to help this person.

Know that you have support no matter how many people oppose showing this because it's our school the documentary is on. it's time for ashland to stand up and look their horrific past in the eye and make damn sure that no other student will ever have to be treated this way again.

  • We've added the link to the description so that you may order the video from here

  • where can i get this movie???? anyone?

  • Jamie - this is amazing and with all the recent student suicides the timing is almost eerie. I hope schools view it, learn from it and make positive change.

  • This is fantastic. A must see for every school.

  • any child at school could be a victim of physical bullying and harassment and its always wrong in any situation. just like "hate crimes" all heinous crimes are hate crimes. abused children need to grow up in an environment where they will feel safe, thats why i support homeschooling or private schools. when those children get older they can learn self-defense. hate crimes laws don't work, stronger gun rights laws do. thats just my opinion.

  • Another good film on the subject is "Out In The Silence"

  • Get ready Public Schools to teach Tolerance to your students and educators.

  • This looks fantastic! I don't think 1schwererziehbar1 and I watched the same video. The production value, the image quality, and the interview vignettes all looked top-notch and very compelling. THANK YOU for making this film.

  • this looks incredibly cheap.

  • good video

  • It is about time we addressed this in the schools. I will be one of the first on the waiting list to add this to my school's library.

  • I hope every school in America takes this opportunity to showcase this documentary! I am sure there is one school that will not..

  • @mixmastermike09 Ashland High? XD

  • @mixmastermike09 I would not want my kid watching this! My kid fights his own battles win lose or draw! I don't want my kid running to anyone everytime someone teases him! You have to learn to how to deal with issues before you go crying home to mommy! We are raising a society full of pussies!
