hey can someone help me out? I just got the ns6 and its awesome but i have a huge music library. Is there a way I can analyze all the tracks at once so i don't have to load every song individually by dragging it to a channel. I know it might take a while but at least i can do it when I'm off to go do something else.
I'm not familiar with Serato; but there should be a browse mode and load buttons which you can use to load your decks. If you get quick enough, you can set grids/cue points and all that during the playback of another song. That's one of the main functions of using CUE on your HEADPHONES.

I use the Traktor Kontrol S4 and it is honestly much better, smaller, cheaper, and uses Traktor Pro 2 which is what DJ stores recommend also. You pre-beatmatch the songs btw, then it saves in the library.VDJ's = S4 beginner, Pioneer Pro

Damn now this is a dj! I just bought a Numark mixtrack pro to start, I am a total beginner but you would have to be insane not to realize that this dude is on and this system looks awesome!
Not a big fan of the platters, please bring back the vinyl for us who like that cut & scratch feel. Think I'll stick with NS7 for now, might have to go back to time coded turntables :( as well the unit is getting smaller, tend to accidentally hit knobs and the platter every now and then with the NS7 size. More features less space, I dun knooow... want to feel like I'm using a DJ set, not a keyboard. Love the added input/outputs and the features is Numark & Serato represent'n as expected !
The Vestax VCI-400 DJ has more on board effects and i feel is better suited for the Electronic type of music. While the NS6 excells at everything else casually.
Had this machine for 2 weeks, was in debate on either getting Traktor Kontrol S4,Pioneer DDJ-S1 ,Denon DN-MC6000. The Numark hands down is the better machine. Its hard build is just great and so are the metal platters. And its a perfect size too and has all the input/output that is needed.One macine that does match up to this one is the Vestax VCI-400 DJ . They both cost about the same ( Numark ns6 can cost 800-1,000 ). they both perform outstanding.
What version of itch software is this..........I am using itch 2.1 and it is nothing like this on screen, the whole layout is different..........I prefer the layout in the video......
4trak comes with traktor. But Actually u can use the ns6 with traktor too so the only new thing is that fx-control on top of the deck. That looks kinda gay...

@lolsxboy if you don't mind buying a couple flash drives and not being able to connect it to a computer than go with 2 numark ndx400's and an iM1 mixer, but if you really wanna hook it up to a computer than go with a couple cdj350's / numark ndx800's/900's, and a mixer of your choice. it's really nice to have the mixer and the tables separate because then if you need to fix something/upgrade something you can just replace/upgrade the thing you need.
ive search about them all and they use cd players too, isnt it a problem if i want connect it in a laptop?. Well i saw that 2 of them are compatible too, but ...srry for my bad english im not native. Anw u have answered me enoght ty

I just sent my ns6 back to get thoroughly checked out for multiple irregularities...loosening my crossfader, audio dropouts, skip function never worked for me (tried the skip function on 2 pc and 1 Mac and still the same result). Had problems from the start...soon as I upgraded the firmware (like the quick start manual instructed) that's when it started. I spent hours trying to get itch to recognize the ns6. I had to call numark for help. Once they got it to recognize, I had no audio. I unplug
@ClamEatsCurry you do need something this expensive to begin DJing. I used a Traktor studio demo for almost two years before buying a Hercules RMX controller. Figure out if u really like mixing music first

scratching is off. tried on 2 pcs and a macbook pro. not exactly like turntables. little bit of latency. the ns7 is a lot better but doesnt have the cool features of the ns6 .in terms of scratching, fader specific scratches like transforms work fine but more record based scratches like tears and stabs are a little off. also the latency makes it so it is a bit harder to place cue points on the fly. you are forced to set the cue marks ahead of time. at leas in my experience. ns6 still is dope

scratching is off. tried on 2 pcs and a macbook pro. not exactly like turntables. little bit of latency. the ns7 is a lot better but doesnt have the cool features of the ns6 .in terms of scratching, fader specific scratches like transforms work fine but more record based scratches like tears and stabs are a little off. also the latency makes it so it is a bit harder to place cue points on the fly. you are forced to set the cue marks ahead of time. at leas in my experience. ns6 still is dope

How do you turn off sync on the NS6, i have been trying to figure it out for a few days now. The only way i can do it is by resetting the unit....
