Tony just OWNED that guy lol Tony's push-ups are just perfection. And this guy is in is 50s!! So "So no excuses from any of you!" - as Tony might say...
THAT BLACK GUY IS DOING EASY PUSHUPS WITH BARELY ANY ARM RETRACTION OR EXTENTION TONY HORTON IS DOING PERFECT FORM PUSHUPS THAT STUPID NIGGER ISNT DOING THEM RIGHT FILTHY BASTARD
maybe it's different in the air force, but when I was a drill sergeant in the army, I don't think I would have counted any of the airman's push ups because he does not lower his body as a unit and then raise it as a unit. He is pivoting at the hips, and therefore only "half-assing" it.. at least in the beginning of the video, he improves towards the end...
Shaun t would win, but give props to Tony, he is a beast for his age and he can do mad pullups, u should see him do the peg board, he hits every hole once. I hope I'm in that shape at his age.
certain units really monitor them, the real way to do it is to make sure your elbows break 90 degrees and elbows lock out in the up position before you go all the way down.
tony inspire me soooo much! you just can't hate tony horton! and oh, army boy wasn't doing perfect pushups, tonys are harder, and deeper. still tony wins!
Tony was going all the way up and down locking his arms and everything. The other guy was just doing speed push ups not all the way proper form. But to give him credit no one can truly ever complete with this seasoned bad ass!! Hurt for a while but never out of the game, Tony truly is a god in the fitness world!
@piushr He said, "I feel bad for you, that's to bad". Prior to doing the pushups Tony pulled 4 steel pallets from one end of the dock to the other, they were around 250lbs each, the last two pallets were connected.
Tony Horton is a freaking MACHINE. 53 years old, bicep tendon torn off the bone in April, and he still threw out 60 straight seconds of rock solid pushups versus an active soldier who might be less than half his age?
Tony can do, I believe he said 120 pushups straight and I damn sure believe it. I have gotten 100 in a minute, but that was it, I'd much rather have that sheer endurance that Horton has to keep on going. I wonder how many pullups in a minute he can do?
In April Tony tore his right bicep tendon doing iron cross pushups on a BOSU ball..bubble down. We did a P90X2 chest, back & balls workout in the gym after the Thursday group workout and he crushed levers and monkey bar pull ups. At 53 he's a machine.
They should have chose a better Airman to challenge him. I'm going to Air Force Basic in 16 days and I can push out 50 proper push-ups in 35 seconds. That guy should have been blowing past 100 if he was really keeping up on his push-ups.
@bentr1587 your going to basic in 16 days you are not an airman yet so keep your mouth shut. This is one of my buddies that I've know for a while. and 77 pushups in a minute is really good I've only seen one person in my entire career do over 100 pushups in a minute
the airman isn't locking his arms all of the way out in the beginning like he was in the end, I'd say 1/2 would count. (and not lets here the comments ragging me now) I'll admit, I did 66. and im in the Air Force too
@rd08242 yeah i totally agree with you. They should have a sensor for your chest on the floor and one for your back so when you go up you have to touch it and down the same thing. This way the sensors are the same for both competitors. No half way up bullshit
