How many years has it been since Berserk began, and it's finally... Here. As a fan whose read the manga to date over countless times, the things I'm most happy about are the facial expressions, I saw some parts I recognise in the manga, and that makes me happy because getting the right facial expression at the right moment is the most crucial to me. You cannot believe how badly it can ruin a moment if it's not done right, but I'm happy to say I'm impressed, and cannot wait for this masterpiece.
I am Japanese. And, this movie has been seen today. CG considerably fitted this movie though I also worried about it. It was not so anxious though the actosr and the actresses had changed either. It was a good movie. Everybody overseas, please expect it (´▽｀)

Saw the movie and it is awesome. Not for the uninitiated cause it'll seem disjointed as far as story progression goes. the CG is nice and imo does justice during the fight scenes.

I just hope they don't end it like the anime. For fuck's sake, the Eclipse event is just the catalyst for the rest of the series! It's a pretty hard-ass moment in the series, but nowhere NEAR the end. Hell, the manga is still ongoing!

i really dont give a shit about all the CG. but i am sort of dissapointed that they went away from the graphics of the original series. those were pretty close to the manga graphics. but either way the new fight with zodd looks fucking amazing plus i did a little research and this new series is going to follow guts into his role as the black swordsman. you really cant go wrong with that.:)
Not me. Months at a time of waiting to find that plot hasn't and won't be progressing any time soon, for literally years now. I'd rather see the revamped Golden Age in all its CG glory.
I have to agree with the you about the CG. Personally I think the animation for this looks good, but why are so many animes using CG? It just doesn't look as nice. I will definitely still watch this though. I'm worried it won't look nearly as dark and gritty as the manga did though.
@ricowesley Maybe its cheaper and easier. But when you see high quality movies 100% without CG you see a vast difference it looks a lot better, but I guess It's also a lot more expensive.
