Tech had 190 yards more of total offense than UT. TTU had 4 sacks/UT 2. TTU 8 tackles for a loss/UT 4. An NFL scout told me after the game without a few big plays from UT, they would have lost by 2 & 1/2 TDs. One area where UT was clearly better was in the punting/kicking category. Other than that, Tech dominated. The numbers prove it. Frankly, UT was outplayed. End of story.

alright, i am in the longhorn band and send an honest congrats to the tech football team. they played great on a night that we didn't have our best. however, the fans are some of the rudest people i've ever met in my life. the tx-ou rivalry is intense, but still a competitive thing in the end. the tech fans were disgustingly volatile towards us and the team, and that really is classless. you guys have a talented team this year... support them in the right ways. as for me, my horns stay up!

I was sitting at home watching the game with my Dad and my family and I told my dad Texas messed up by giving the Tech offense 1:26 left to move the ball, and what a great catch by Michael Crabtree and a great pass by Harrel.. I am a grown woman working with a team and I DO NOT appreciate being grabbed, punched and kicked by a bunch of drunks (the girls were as vicious as the guys). It is OK to celebrate, it is NOT OK to abuse the visitors and staff of the other team.

Yes, it was pure luck that Tech owned the first half. It was pure luck that Texas shined like the great team they are and came back in the second half to regain the lead. It was pure luck that ball did not get intercepted at the end of the game. It was pure luck that Graham Harrell did what he has done all season and scored with just over a minute left in the game, throwing between two defenders for Crabtree to score the winning TD. Sometimes, though, "luck" is all that a team needs.
