I like my records , 33 the shit still plays like the day it was recorded, this stuff especially. it’s good I can take a piece of paper and a spinning wheel and put a pointed folded piece of paper in the groove and I hear the same thing Im looking to hear with this shit.
@FuzorPrime the bass line was usually done by Ray Manzarek, the keyboardist. He would do the regular keyboard with one hand and the bass line on a seperate keyboard with the other hand.
@handyhanks actully on la woman they had a bass player in the studio to record the bass parts cuz manzerk felt kis organ was only good for pulling off stuff live and that itd sound to fake in the studio so they hierd some guy whos name i cant rember to play bass on the record
@handyhanks Actually, they used a session bassist on the last two albums, Morrison Hotel and L.A. Woman, so this is a real bassist on this track. I think they may have used one for The Soft Parade album too. Anyway, you can tell on this tune it's a real bassist because of all the slides in the bass riffs which cannot be done by foot pedal, which is what Ray used to play the bass notes in the early days.
@ThEmIdNiGhTiNtRuDeR There was a real bassist, if you buy the vinyl record somewhere in the booklet they mention a bass player contribution......you can hear more evidently in the L.A. woman song at the beginning....
@fourtrains That might just be bad luck... Don't forget to add the "I do not pretend to own the following song" in your video description, it worked for all my videos!

@ThEmIdNiGhTiNtRuDeR Actually, Ray didn't generally use a foot pedal. He played a Rhodes PianoBass, which sat on top of his organ.

@skasmosAE Yes, I know there was. I think you replied to the wrong person. I was telling someone else the very same thing on this very thread.

@handyhanks I thought Jerry Scheff (Elvis's bassist) played bass on this album.

Well, it figures, I uploaded my own "enhanced" version and it was blocked by YT.
I kinda got a feeling YT, does not like me very well, for some reason, this is not
the first time, others upload music and have no problem, but, if I upload the same,
it gets blocked.
