ive got to say i used to play warhammer as a kid (like10 years old) im 16 now, i stopper playing when i got to secondary school cuz everyone used to take the piss out of me but i think im gunna get back into it, whats so wrong about playing a statagy game like warhammer, its fun, just cuz it takes a bit more brain power than hurling yourself into people with a ball in your hand, people shouldnt judge and believe it or not im the captin for my rugby team :)

the hellblaster shouldnt have been able to fire on his turn due to being hit by the chillwind and taking a casualty thats why chill wind is so nice and thats why he was using dispell scrolls on it the previous 2 or 3 times.the caster must have forgot to point that out

if i may ask, why is your sorceress in the back rank, its a hero, it has to lead from the front, i ask this b/c i play DE and i hate leading from the front seeing that i use 5 sorceresses at 2000 pts :P

Depends on your style of play. Hydra if your list is agressive, or needs some ccmuscle, Reapers if your list is more defensive, or you have enough ccmuscle.

@Pikkabuu I'm new to this so I'm not sure, my main opponent plays wood elves at 1k points so I guess agressiveness is more valued on this case.

Then go with Hydra. But I still suggest proxying the troops in few games just to get a feeling of both of them and which of them would fit better on your playstyle.

Just want to point out that one wizard cannot carry more than one arcane item except for scrolls and power stones. So in other words, the dark elf players "general" sorceress is braking the rules by taking both the Darkstar Cloak and the Tome of Furion since both are Arcane Items.

The rule can be found on page 121 of the Warhammer rulebook under "Arcane Items".

and,to add something to the other sorceress,you have to put her into the first row,you must not put her into the last one. Characters always have to be placed in the first row,when it's full,the second and so on..

The Hellfire volley gun wasn't allowed to shot,because of chillwind. It affects war machines too.

But anyway,nice videos and i'm glad to find them here on youtube!

By the way: For how long are you two playing warhammer now? I'm just interested in that.

If you can find the right colour scheme, painting takes no time at all: for my d'elves, I go black undercoat, codex grey drybrush on the cloth and codex followed fortress grey drybrushing on the metal weapons/chainmail. Skin is just elf flesh followed by elf flesh/skull white. All in all takes less than 5 mins per model + base. Even if I only do 1 unit a week, i can still stay on top of things.

Shame about the hydra, but I guess in that situation you just have to be grateful that so many of the cannonballs fell short.

The report was well put together and would have alot more impact if your models were painted, but I know how it goes, I spend ALOT of time on each model. Kudos :)

yah sure...besides, unless you absolutely blow ass at painting you can get about 5 guys done in under an hour. I can usually finish a unit of 10-15 men in under an hour and a half!

OK for the hellblaster volley gun do you roll the A dice for the first barrel then fo rhte second one then for the third but just say you got a mishap on the first on do you rest of them get to fire?

depends.. roll for misfire and check the table.. sometimes you get to fire remaining barrels, sometimes not.. sometimes (most of the time) the whole thing just explodes
