im 16 and i took the placement test for reading and breezed by but then came the math. i got frustrated becuz it was so easy but took awhile to do. i did like half and gave up. i can do the math this girls doing but i ended up in my brothers math which is like basic mult. and dividing. the basic stuff is so much harder than this haha. all kumon does is make you faster at math. they make a load of profit just printing little papers. i actually dont think its worth the money but it seems to help.

People with these types of gifts are born this way, not educated. My brother is gifted at Mathematics was correctly answering university grade maths in grade 1. He said he didn't know how he knew about algebra and such concepts, to him he just thought it was simple knowledge everybody knew.

I'm white South African residing in the UK, and 80% of the kids at our Kumon are Asian. I believe in such a competitve word they are the people striving for the edge. I would be very proud if we were Asian. It's all about bettering your quality of life - especially for your kids. Just shows you how much children can do when they have supportive parents. Well done to this little girl.

forgive me for not believing this,but i find it a little hard for a 6 years old kid to be able to full understand and complete factorial integration.i mean,De L'Hospital had mastered differencial and infinitive calculus when he was 13 years old,and you are telling me that a girl can do that while she has half the years he did?

I totally believe this girl really knows the Math. She is a gifted child and Kumon makes her smarter. A child who is born gifted needs good parents to give her the best education and attention, otherwise she will just be like an ordinary kid. Keep it up girl and the parents!

she spent max. 1 hour per day. 1 hour prayer time and reading bible. The rest of her time is being used as normal kids. Nothing special how she spends her time daily

My kids are equipped with EQ, SQ and the last one is IQ.....IQ is the minor thing in our family. The most important is SQ (Spiritual Q)...DOn;t worry about IQ (high or low), when SQ is OK, a miracle can happen. This is what we believe.
