I have the first strike and the escalation map pack. Escalation is better than the first strike because it has 3 very good maps...Hotel,Convoy,Stockpile. I don't like Zoo because this map doesn't match in my style. But First Strike has the Stadium which is one of my favorite maps and I have a lot of fun when I played there. Now I am waiting for Annihilation map pack in PS3!!!!

treyarch please give us back this game, the released version, is lame and borring. u guys should have never messed with it. the game in the trailers and beta footage looks crisp, not fot and clunky like it is now. the character designs were solid, the games hit boxes seem more exact like infinty wards cods the camos were more pleasing, everybody please spread this so 3arch will see this and possible kno how to give us the game we actually thought we were getting,sounds,looks,feel, and everything

@user19981: COD Black Ops takes place in the Vietnam War era. Every major gun in use from the 60s-70s are there. The Desert Eagle wasn't made until 1982. So for "the sake of Black Ops" keep it true to the timeline and just enjoy the weapons you already have. Wait until MW3.

I have prolly irritated many great players because of lack of exp or knowledge. There needs to be something for players of similar skill, or maybe a noob area. Lets face it combat training is boring. In training, I can pull down 100 kills, but online, Im good if I get 10. I have fun, but to be annihilated constantly is no fun either. Plus, I dont want to ruin better players's game. I, like others, lack the skill to compete with high end players. Can there please be some different settings?

Does anyone know what kind of large Hard Drive or other Device ? is on top of the Xbox 360 @02:14 & again @02:23 ? Is this a special device used for programing/ devilment ? & Why isn't Treyarch using PS3's to work on ? They have much more capability and processing power, it's basically a PC that Sony's neutered form doing so much more than a standard PS3 can.

@koolcon71 The First Strike maps have been merged into normal lobbies now. As they have been since the release on Feb 1st. You don't have to pick Escalation playlist to play Escalation maps, they're there if you ONLY want to play Escalation maps.

@koolcon71 yes you can still play frist strike you just have to go to core first strike got merged into the regular maps so if u press core sometimes first strike maps will pop up about 85 percent of the time u just have to vot for it happy to help

if they would do this, they would have to make sure that non of these weapons would be overpowered. so in this case, there would be no outstanding weapons. they would be similar to the "normal" ones. if this would be the case, why the heck should someone buy a weapon pack? treyarch would make no money (or way to less) so they won't do this.

AK-74u, AUG, FAMAS, L96A1, WA2000, PSG-1, Spectre, and tons of other weapons wasn't even planed by the time Black Ops takes place.

@user19981 the problem with a weapons pack is that they have to deal with the problem of people not having the pack picking the weapons up from someone who does since they haven't downloaded the guns the game would crash :/ i don't think that anyone would like that to happen to them.
