totally right to MastersJunk - based on Homer and I think a wonderful and very underrated movie - people who appreciate the classic's and heaven forbid ever read a book (or even a comic) would know how good this is - and obviously I'm not being on the cretin wave link or Doh! - dare I say USA thinking - therefore I could be forgiven for being "Thick as a Brick" (UK Band - Bet u don't know who that was)
'kryptism' You should not judge a book by the cover. Overall - this is a film on self-discovery, learning and accepting of others. In the end, the racists and evil elements of the film lose, and goodness wins. Before you make a film review - - perhaps you should actually watch it first.
The only problem with the video is that the clips are too short. They're just flashing on and off basically. You should cut the number in half, run the good ones twice as long, and then it would be a good video.
Its sung by ralph Stanley. Oh death.. won't you spare me for another year. Its about being old and close to death. And wanting to get things right before you die! I have no ideia what the ku klux klowns have to do with it! They definatly are not who they used to be.. Nothing but goofballs now!
ít's been a while since i've seen it, but i believe this song is sang by the cop while they're digging their own graves, either that or when they see the kkk. i can't remember.
It's sung by the guy who is running against the governor and is the leader of the KKK. The gravediggers are singing Lonesome Valley and is performed by the Fairfield Four, they also played the part of the gravediggers.
It's funny to me because the Klan members are portrayed as idiots, not to mention the fact that the whole marching thing is right out of "The Wizard of Oz"!
i may be wrong but the kkk dance was an allusion to the same scene because they sing the exact same song, the exact same dance, there are three characters who watch (scarecrow, tinman, and the lion for WoO, and i forgot the three guys from oh brother) and are tryin to save a friend from the group (dorothy in WoO and Tommy in Oh brother)
something about the whole idea of the "southern gothic" horror story just creeps me out. Maybe it's because i'm from Alabama and the whole klan thing hits home alot more. Stories by Eudora Welty and Flannery O' Connor always gave me chills.
wasnt creepy. not bad though, doesnt make it sound like a horror video lol. great movie. hes saying Oh, death? i always thought he was saying "odin" stretched out on the O. ill have to watch with subtitles on in english, play the movie in spanish or something lmao
AWESOME!! All of you that say this is stupid - SHUT THE FUCK UP YOU STUPID BITCHES!! IF YOU THINK O, BROTHER IS "Fucking retarded" THEN STOP WATCHING!! O, BROTHER RULES!!
LittleDevil, loll! A much needed edit!! I'm not much one for "firery" rhetoric, but were that a real klansman, "from your lips to Gods ear" on that one! =)
"lol 0:24 kkk member catches on fire and runs around in circles screaming."
??? Well, seeing that doesn't happen in the vid, I assumed that's what you'd LIKE to see. Not sure what else you could have meant in your post, whatever, my mistake then.
i think it is a comerdy
