I give Lewis credit for the Hollyfeild fights, the Ruddock bout and even the Tyson one although Tyson was a "shot" boxer by then. However the others you mention were "bums" with the exception of Kilchisko who could have easily beat Lewis that night and I think Lennox knew this and wisely rather than follow in the footsteps of so many others he retired before the slide really began. @ThePeacepoet he may not have been at his peak but his power was still there and he hit danny with everything. i'm a massive tyson fan and i think tyson at his best was unbeatable, but he wasn't stable enough to be consistant and also he peaked really young and never improved as his carrer went on. in my book,lennox lewis takes the #1 spot for the best heavyweight of all time,his record and who he fought says it all, i cant even think of a close second place.

@thehomefront I agree with your comments about Tyson, he certainly hit Williams hard I still feel at his peak Tyson would have beat him easily though. Although taking nothing away from Danny for giving Tyson one of the beatings would never have lived with of his life and hey its only my opinion who knows but Tyson beats most at his peak for me. Certainly Lennox who Im afraid isnt in my top 5 wouldnt have lived with Tyson when he was on his game. However Ali in my opinon is number one tbc
