I feel so bad! I don't remember how old Tink was when we got him, but this was filmed the first day we brought him home. There were around 20 at a pet store - 2 litters - and our old cat Spooky had just died at the time, so it was only natural to fall in love with this one! The kittens were given to the pet because the owners couldn't keep them all. There were even smaller kittens there with tails the length of your pinky finger... a little too small to be selling in my opinion...

Thank you so much for asking me this before you decided on getting a cat. The black kitten has never harmed my budgie, but he has climbed on the cage. However, another cat of mine KILLED our first budgie. I would not suggest getting a cat and a budgie unless they are ALWAYS in separate rooms or if the bird is in his cage when the cat is around him. You have to be very serious and careful when making your decision. If you have any more questions, please ask!
