My mom passed on 3/3/2000, and sometimes i still feel her presence. She was DEFINITELY my bestie (along w/ my pops!) and, for the most part, it's gotten easier to deal w/ her death; but still, there are times...... (This song is a tribute to our mothers, gammas-- even aunties-- who left before us. We'll ALWAYS love them, won't we?) *sad smile*

seeing my mother's grave this Mother's Day brought closure nearly 12 years since iv last seen her grave. she passed away may/9/1997. I will never forget my mother's love she gave me. I miss you everyday, Mama, and my love for you will never die! <3

I always play this song in honor of my mother who died 4/19/06. Its interesting that she died the day before she gave birth to me which was 4/20/78. So its hard for me to celebrate my birthday cause i miss her so much. Although i try and celebrate the fact that she is finally at peace. There are those times i wish i had her comforting arms and words.
I feel this as it makes me cry thinkin' not only of Ma' whom God took back in 1989 but the mother-in-law I never got to meet taken in 1998 & the "adoptive Mommie" that taught me how to fulfill my spiritual duties laid to rest in 2003.
the unconditional love of both parents is a right of every child. it's unfortunate that some turned that right into a privilege.
i just wanted to say i love this song....i lost someone who was so important to me last april....she was my second mother and her daughter and the rest of us have been going through a lot of pain because it was sudden and un-expected and we are searching for answers .....we love and miss you momma
what happened to music?..it has lost its way.....I miss the 90s and earlier...I just lost my Grandmother on good friday of this year..and i feel so lost without her......God bless all who have experienced such a loss as losing their mother and/or grandmother and those who dislike their mother on some level..remember...they brought you into this world with the grace and gift of God...God Bless
