@fudotube I have a 9.2tt. The tubes do glow. They start faint and get brighter but they don't get really bright. Mine you can see in the dark but you have to really look to see the glow with the lights on.

Cool demo. All the Axe FX talk is ok, I have one. It does not sound as good as a Mesa Mark series anything imo. My friends have a Mk V and they can get a great Petrucci tone with that and a Intellifex. The Axe or modelers like the G92tt are sweet but you really still need a good amp. Axe fx is cool but I still love my amps when it came down to what I sell, the Axe Fx would go first. JP likes the Axe fx and he likes other cool gear but his raw amp will remain Mesa Boogie.

@MarvinPetrucci i dunno i can get a flawless mesa sound on my axe-fx... and guitar rig is not even close to better than the AFX.. plus AFX make ANY tone you want if you take the time to go through the parameters.... trust me if you have not tried one YOU NEED TO.. they cost a lot but they are perfect in every way and they are updated like every week with new capabilities.

also guitar rig 4 is just a vst?.. you can play live with AFX and i record direct with not post processing sounds perfect.

I'm getting a new processor tomorrow. I'm gonna use it through Technics stereo hi-fi system with Jamo BX 200 Cabs. So Zoom or Pod X3 Live which one is better sounding on stereo ? Zoom is 425 Euro , Pod X3 Live is 500 Euro. And these are the cheapest prices that I've found. Normally they're more expensive. Holy fuck. I live in a flat, If I could use a tube amp with %100 performance, I would choose marshall haze 15. But I need a processor to get a great sound in low volume.

It shorts because the metalized paint flakes fall in the switches and onto the motherboard. Shielding is conductive. Hence if a piece falls off and grounds two traces it will short out.

Thats a good question. You probably should ask Line 6 because I went through 3 of them. I didn't even gig with it. I have a studio and it never moved from one plave on the floor. check with them to see if they fixed the issue.

this has low effects quantity as compared to the gt-10 or the x3 that is why they slashed the price to 299 as compared to the previous months 399$.

See that thing is they pedals have a couple of outstandingly great effects...but.....they are presets and they are the best it offers ..u can get seriously awesome tones with the gt-10 or x3 once u get into them...p.s they have higher volume output that can seriously blow all the speakers at once...this pedal is somewhat contained in that sense.

There is a video with Infected Mushroom that just got posted where they use a Zoom G7.1 live for the guitars. It just got posted this past week.

The POD X3 while it can get some cool sounds is made very cheaply. I have had 3 of them. They have an issue where the paint on the inside of the unit comes off and short circuits the switches. I haven't picked up a GT10 yet but now that the Eleven Rack is out I may not. I have the G9.2tt, V-Amp Pro, Boss GT-8, Pocket PoD, and a Johnson Millennium 150.

With the X3 Live I was the first person to pre-order one here before they were even in Guitar Centers computers so I had some time to play with it. The problem is there is some conductive shielding paint. A really thin cheap layer thats in the top of the pedal since they didn't use metal this time aroud. They made an update to fix the random patch changes but the pedal can still short out. I would look at the Line6 forums to see if they ever fixed the issue. You can also see my posts on there.

The distortions aren't all digital. This pedal has a 12ax7 tube preamp in it, and can be blended with solid state circuitry.
