My dad got a 30% yak for himself and let me grab the controls for a bit. I learned how to do it on that plane. Much easier on a big yak than anything else ive tried.
I agree. I have gotten my hands on larger planes and I find them much easier to do 3D with. I have a few foamies, and they are really jittery compared to the larger planes I have flown, and 1 large plane I own.

to do those slow rolling patterns, do they use rudder only? i can never see the elevator move every time i see someone doing that.

Rolling harriers require aileron input (for the rolling), elevator, and rudder. Essentialy, you use all the controls when doing a rolling harrier.
