Very nice videography :-) It's okay to have the video in Bisayan, but what frustrates me is that there are mistranslations of those that are speaking in the community. Also the men around the campfire are clearly not Sama Dilaut. I use this term and not Badjao, because Badjao/Bajau is a misnomer borrowed from Indonesian. They are Sama and they speak Sinama.
after malaca they become army of brunei and often some king of brunei give title to thier relative as king of bajau(raja di laut) reperesentitve for the bajau people to the islamic empire
Badjaos are everywhere, mostly beggars in most major cities in the country. They are said to be working for a syndicate... From begging is where they earn a living...
i see badjao people here in my place roaming the streets and begging for money. they came all the way from the extreme south and now they are here on the extreme north. how i wish they get educated and get off the life they are into
if we want to help them we should first resfect and undertand there own traditional cultural& aspict of life and after that we educate them and built them a school and don't mexed them w/d other trib coz this people is ben bolly by another people and if the noteced there r easily away & moved coz, this people the don't want figth the want peace but everything is on the hand of philippines goverment,im personaly tanks 4 your effort 2 do this documentary me god or allah bless you & your family
miss twinx pede b mag apply sau as ur journalist?..ur docu is good. mas maganda sna if meron ngssabi while featuring badjaos..ala I WITNESS b or Correspondent..

well, that's your opinion. & i will respect you for that because you are entitled to one. =)
but just keep in mind that is how most white people perceive Filipinos.
I won't be too quick to judge if I were you my friend :-)

Hardly anybody does.
It's a whole different world where they live.
You wouldn't even know you're still in Davao City.
