  • kind of looks like he broke a leaf spring at .07

  • that red car is my moms bosses car

  • my smart car can do that

  • thats what i call torque. lol

  • Nice Save. That could have been messy!

  • nice wheel stand but need to go forward not up.

  • Too bad. Hard to be sure with the camera angle, but he seemed to be slightly ahead when he came down.

  • It looked like he turned the wheels to the right while it up in the air, so when it landed the car headed towards the other lane, which of course caused the driver to yank the wheel back to the left and almost lose control. Wheel stands look so cool and impressive but they do not win races.

  • Mad respect for him keeping it under control and not wrecking.

  • Amazing with just 9'' tires.

  • I wonder what the engine is? max wedge based or hemi

I have lots of old max wedge/hemi super stocker vid saved my favorites if you want to check them out

  • his wheel was turned in the air. he knew it wouldnt have ended up good

  • thank god he did not wreck such a wicked car!

  • Amazing!

  • I pissed my pants just watching this. Im not even in the damn car! xD

  • That would have scared the crap out of me if it was my car.

  • I don't care if that car lost. That was the coolest wheelie I have ever seen....

  • Joe Aluise, the best top stock racer. Its too bad that the rules package was too conservative to let the class become popular . Allowing a single stage plate No2 kit was all that was needed to capture the fans'attention.

  • STock eliminator cant have wheelie bars

  • Yes they can, they can only be 54 or 52 inches in length or to the rear bumper

  • why would those pro teams be watching a top stock pass?

  • @slickblackdart if you have to ask why the pro cars' teams were watching Top Stock, you've no idea how cool this class was. We'd drop everything to watch top stock. Seeing Joe Aluise's car brings back a lot of memories from Cayuga and Grand Bend.

  • Good save my MoPar brother!!! had me sweatin' at first! :O

  • I was working behind the starting line when this pass was made. The top fuel, funny car and pro stock teams were watching and were VERY impressed.

  • Good recovery

that mopar needs some wheelie bars

  • that car was smoking the chevy man!And would of kept on smokin' it if he didn't have to back off of it. yes, keep the front end down and smoke that chevy please.

  • Just after the apex at 26 seconds you can see he turned the wheels to the right while up in the air. Car must have been drifting to the guard rail as it was coming down. Scary moment, nice save.

  • great save....

  • with a little attention to detail, the stock engines can produce some big HP.

  • what an outstanding job by aluise, that car could have EASILY been destroyed, even if driven by John Force, no joke. GORGEOUS wheelstand, that Belvie wanted to go to the moon!!!

  • damn too sick
