Obama jumped the shark on tax cuts because he NEEDS the economy come 2012 -- when he’ll naturally get (take) the credit. Booooooooooooo! Too bad GOP reinforcements don’t arrive ‘til January 3rd. They’re needed there now!

I think the GOP was outmaneuvered by Obama on this. Obama is now being cast as somehow moving to the center, and the media won’t let us forget that -- nor the (what I think is overhyped) Democrat “infighting” -- like they really gave up more than the GOP. Not!

The federal government “allowing” us to keep more of OUR money (i.e., extending the Bush-era tax cuts) shouldn’t be a partisan issue, especially when its effect down the road will help us all.
