That's how my 12-yr old male dachshund and 2-yr old female chow mix play. They show teeth and snap at each others' necks. But I have not seen any blood or any loose fur, and they wag their tails, so I guess it's all play. After a couple of rounds they settle down near each other.
No need to shout at them.The baby is not even whining. Hush.
