Dir en Grey centers it's music around emotion, and lately shock to get the message across. They relied on VK at first, then they relied on macabre craziness... and it seems now they're relying on their fan base. But it only goes to prove that their fan base sucks, it may be massive, but it a bunch of wimps. They watch the obscure video and talk about nightmares... If the fans fail to see the message behind the shock, then they don't deserve to be fans.

I don't know.. I think they were trying to prove how real they are..... I can't back it up, but when this came out they were on tour with a few international bands.... It may have something to do with that.

@arikoyamato I agree. I don't follow the band themselves, really, but I follow and track the "reality" portrayed in their music... and around Withering., things started to shift. A lot.

But hey, at least they didn't do as badly as Rentrer en soi did -- nothing against Soi though, I love them as well.

Hmmm I love their songs, but not too sure about the video (no offence, its just that their orginal videos themselves are waaay too disturbed to be psychologically ok) !

Watching this at 1 in the morning-not a good idea. I've seen some pretty fucked up stuff before, but this is a little too much in my opinion. And screw the female nudity!!

I mean, there's nothing we could be pride of. Everything we do is made of good and bad. We hide the things that are inside of us. And because of that our souls will rot. This song seems to be an honest reflection of whats inside of us. There is a fear of dying in a world like this.

I think it's more sorrowful and torturing than aggressive.More passive than active. Honest though.Also there is something else...Maybe Grief and Insanity. Losing control of oneself.
