I graduated already last year, but nope, we don't compete. It's more of a fun extracurricular than a competitive, formal thing.

learned through the Asian Students' Association at school. No, you didn't have to be Chinese (or Asian, for that matter) but there were auditions. &it's not a class, it's just a club thing.

Nah...we don't know. They were passed down to us from years ago (made by the very first members of ribbon dance) Sorry!

i am prettty sure that they are silk and how did they come from the first ribbon dancers weren't they like riped or they are probably bought

I am pretty sure they are NOT silk. They came from the first ribbon dancers at our school because they were handmade.

Great Job Ladies. I can't believe ASA is still using the same dance from my year...
