I've got an amazing video on my channel of the Red Arrows flying including Sean Cunningham & Jon Egging who were flying in the video, RIP to these amazing guys.
will you please allow playback of this video on a ipad my boy loves this video. bit gutted can play back on all other devices apart from my ipad 2. please please please
hi you wanna see whats flying across the screen as the arrows leave bournemouth download it play it on vlc and play it at its slowest setting and watch very carefully ....
My (somewhat feeble) tribute to Flt Lt J "The Eggman" Egging, Red 4, includes the song "Simply The Best" by Tina Turner. Because the Reds are the best display team in the World, bar none...
They are the best but one crashed wich is pretty sad but they might be at Lowestoft beach next year cause I'm in Suffolk and in kessingland so the red arrows are epic
We send our love and sad condolences to all of Jon's family just now and to the crew of the Red arrows, friends and relatives. I spent my early years living in Ramsgate watching the Red Arrrows train at Manston Airport and have always loved and admired them and my family and I were at the Bournmouth Airshow just last Friday and I was thrilled as always to see the boys perform on that beautiful sunny afternoon.
WELL DONE!! I'm half British lived there when I was a kid (Dad was in the USAF and then so was I Bentwaters and Woodbridge) Got to see th RA's when I was kid always loved them and the Thunder Birds. Good Music - Queen.
WHO, possibly, colud dislike this video? i cant say how proud i am to be british and to see the red arrows and listen to queen it just makes me even prouder!!! would LOVE to see a show with red arrows and the best of the american ones who are also AMAZING!! long live western air superiority:))))))
Arrows/Angels Brits/Americans...I saw a documentary of them both together(along with others) and they are in awe of eachother. None of this 'we're better than you' shit! Real men and women who can appreciate eachothers skills so quit with the 'we own you' crap. Just be thankful that our skies are defended by highly skilled and highly dedicated pilots. US or UK...they're all fuckin' heroes in my book....Thanks for everything guys!!!
American here, had never heard of the Red Arrows before.
Yeah, my mind just got BLOWN.
I want to be a Navy pilot, so I'd always been a Blue Angels fan, but... Wow.
What aircraft do they use? They're much smaller than our Hornets, which is probably why they have to keep a bit more distance from one another in formation, too many factors could shift a plane that light and cause a collision. So much more maneuverable, though. It must be a whole different kind of sick to pilot one of those bad boys.
@VarsityNapCaptain BAE Hawk - as adopted by the US Navy as the T-45 Goshawk. It may only have a climb rate of just under 10,000 feet per minute, but it is stressed for 9G turns, which is why it can do a good multi-axis display under a relatively low cloud base . True, the mass of the Hornet makes it more stable in close formation, and the Angels do fly virtually welded-wing in some formations. The Reds eschew that for loads of things going on ,like a Russian circus. Just different display styles
I am british and I went to the farmborough air show and the thunder birds were there WITH the red arrows and they both flew!!! The thunderbirds are so good but I think this is mainly due to the sheer numbers of their team but alltogether the red arrows are just amazing and I could say that they r the best pilots in the world
I would love to see these guys someday. The extra planes make for a great display. I do however prefer how smooth the american teams are, but perhaps this is partially due to the added size of the planes?
To all those who prefer the big loud American Jets - yes , they are brutally impressive, and show off US muscle, but in terms of airborne "art" , its a bit like Arnie, Sly , Steve Austin , Dog The Bounty Hunter , Chuck Norris & William Perry trying to dance the Nutcracker Suite. The Hawks can pull 8 to 9g like the bigger planes, but with an amazingly small turn radius, which is why they can re-group very quickly, for a greater number of formations in 30 minutes.
@I8uLUVm what they also dont realise is that red arrows use more or less no electrical equipment eg sonar and the blue angels do.So the only thing that keeps red arrws in formation is the pilots eyes, skill and communication.
@I8uLUVm Hey!!! Im an american . I love this. I also like the blue angels.. Red arrows are peaceful and trainquil and blue angels are fast and death defying.. both are great
wow that is crazy, marvellous, breathtaking, but please, do not want to watch another disaster waiting to happen, watch squadron 633,or battle of britian, great at showing of courage of pilots, and the art of flying
The thing is, that the red arrows use advanced trainer aircraft. The blue angels and Thunderbirds use advanced combat aircraft. Imagine what the red arrows could do with combat planes!
While I've seen our Thunderbirds and Blue Angels a number of times I hope to see the Red Arrows someday. The larger group really adds something. You have to be a damn good pilot to hold that kind of precision with that many planes so close. Thanks for the video.
