  • This guy thinks he's Keith Olberman, addressing the president directly (as though Obama is tuning in) and criticizing FOX (as though Bill O'Reilly cares). Don't get me wrong...I'm not a fan of Obama or FOX, but this guy is just embarrassing all around.

  • I didn't think anybody was stupid enough to actually believe anything he said about change, but apparently I was wrong. Bush did not do a great job and just about any republican will tell you that, but I don't see how Obama is doing any better?

  • Fox are treasonist aliens...especially O'Rielly...and are working for the small group operating behind whatever elected admin- of the day!!...lol

  • Most Republicans don't hate Obama, just as you said, they are pissed at Obama. And for CHEESOdorito out there. I don't hate democrats, but I don't like them... actually I kinda do hate the democrats.

  • The reason the masses believe FOX is because during the 8 year Bush era, the American people were "dumbed down" and "conditioned" so much that they lived by the belief that the Bush years were RIGHT, and that it didn't get any better. Obama contradicts that belief, threatening to expose the dumbing down of the American people and the reality of their govermental control. Since FOX's word favors the idiot's belief, the idiot then assumes that FOX must be right. In short, our freedom is F%&KED.

  • Good arguments! I don't hate the republicans but I don't like them... actually I kinda do hate the republicans...

  • why is bush bad he did it right

  • pretty good video. full of good facts. but sadly obama is just a puppet. everytime a new president comes, more bad shit just happens.

  • There's the rub! Peace at what cost? And there we are, the whole of the world standing on the edge of the abyss asking "What is the price of PEACE?" The Constitution and Bill of Rights can't be ignored or conveniently re-interpreted, these are the FOUNDATIONS of our Democracy and as veterans we swore to defend against ALL enemies foreign AND domestic. Oh, and WE did business with Saddam. There is footage, google it, Rumsfeld, Saddam shaking hands. WE did business with him, too. Weapons.

  • Do you want some cheese with your whine? Looks like Bush is getting away with it thanks to Obama. And thanks Obama for voting for Bush's FISA bill. If you stop reading the Daily Kos you would know that the tea bag party was against the Republicans to. I recall that many anti american left wingers called Bush Hitler the last eight years. Now I got to go now because being ex military I am on Obama terrorist list and just talking to you may get you into trouble

  • I prefer beer with pretzels. Looks like EVERYONE is getting away with it except America's reputation. I don't like the Kos that much. If those tea parties leaned any further to the right they would have come up beside themselves on the left. I saw one guy at ONE tea party get on a mike and blame Bush and was booed. One Rep. Congressman got booed, I think. ONE.

Bush is not Hitler. Bush is a moron. CHENEY is Hitler.

I'm a vet, too, so we're both screwed.

    Later!

  • Your a vet and you side with people that sold out America?

Who cares what Europe thinks of us. The issue is saving American lives. It is absolutely stunning when the Bush government through water boarding stop a 911 style attack on Los Angles in 2005. But I guess you prefer that American lives be lost so the slim ball Europeans will not be mad at us. And you saying Cheney is Hitler makes you look stupid and is a insult to all the victims of Hitler.

  • 'Cheney is Hitler' was a joke, evansville70. I was being sarcastic, sorry that doesn't play well when written. Who sold us out? Who is responsible for the mess(es) we're in now? Obama has the office 100 days and NOW things are messed up?

That whole LA Tower attack is BS and has been debunked time and time again, look it up. Sorry, but that never happened. Some of those 'slim(e) ball Europeans' are dying in these illegal wars, too. Show some respect.

    I am a vet. I want peace.

  • Well there are a lot of left wings loons who believe that Bush and Cheney are Hitler. What mess are you talking about? As for the LA tower attack I will call my congressman Monday and get some information about it. I will how some respect to the Europeans when they show respect to us and say they are sorry for doing business with Saddam. So you want peace but at what cost?

  • "sorry for doing business with Saddam"... you DO know who sold him most of his weapons, and supported his regime throughout most of the Cold War right? To America, through the Reagan administration, Saddam was the "good guy" when trying to invade Iran.

Also, "when they show respect to us"... Do you know how many European NATO troops have died in Afghanistan, fighting on our side?

  • The reason we supported Saddam was the same reason we supported Stalin in WW2. We had a common enemy. Also I do know that Nato troops have died in Afghanistan but they are not doing much fighting now. In fact President Obama went to Europe to try to get Europe to commit more troops in Afghanistan but Europe refused to send my troops.

  • I do agree they could put more troops into Afghanistan, but you have to put it into the context of both population, as well as the fact that Europe wasn't attacked on 9-11, America was. They're fighting our war, not theirs, but they're still committed. That's respect.

  • I thought the whole point of the NATO treaty was that if one NATO member country was attacked then all NATO members would come to that countries aid. Afghanistan is NATO's war and if Europe will not help us then what is the point of the U.S. being in NATO.

  • The U.S. needed NATO during the Cold War as a way to stop communism from spreading in Europe, at the same time Europe needed NATO during the Cold War as a protection from communism. The NATO-ISAF mission in Afghanistan has over 58,000 troops compared to the US lead mission which had 28,000 troops under Bush. Europe however, was asked to contribute even more because the US had to go focus on Iraq, a war which had nothing to do with NATO.

  • I just hope that Obama and his people are listening to you Tony because you speak so much truth. We are also Obama supporters and need to see more change than what has been going on.Obama has the wrong advisors. If he were listening to you, maybe things would start moving in the right direction.

AND what is up with the Bush man talking about picking up dog crap to the Chinese and making fun of the Japanese Prime Minister singing Hound Dog? Is Bush crazy?? Idea for a rant on Bush, He is a Putz!!!

  • Ah, thanks, guys. Let's face it though, this is all just my opinion. And opinions are like A-holes... They all itch. That's right, isn't it?

    hahahahaaa!

    Seriously, thanks!

  • This reminds me of Thursday's episode of The daily Show. Jon Stewart nailed it how Fox, CNN, and MSNBC are rotating rolls.

On the national level, I see a big roll reversal of diversion going on, exploiting hypocrisies as our freedoms continue to trickle (pun intended) away. The shit storm is gaining strength and there's so much bullshit to keep up with, I'm almost losing sight of the eye.

  • That was a good episode. What does it say when the comedians in this world have more gravitas than the 'news'. Who is the real clown here?

Oh, crap! Is it us? Are WE the freaking clowns?

ha! Yeah, everyone is having this big shift in ideology, you know?

The 'unseen hand' moves the pieces on the game board around.

oh, man, there's a rant, eh?

  • Sometimes I feel cursed for seeing that hand... Or maybe I'm just another among the diverted. Spooky.

  • Nope, I would never want to return to ignorance of this. If some sinister thing happens, again, in this country I want to be able to look at it with MY eyes. Not with the eyes of a sheep.

From now on I will always choose to look for the truth instead of settling for what I'm told.

And if I'm wrong, that only shapes me in a different way, so win/win. Well, no, that would be bruised ego/win, wouldn't it? hahahahaa!

  • There really isn't much difference between Bush and Obama. Bush and the GOP want to concentrate the wealth and power of America in a few large corporate interests, and Obama wants to concentrate the wealth and power of America in the central government. It's really the same thing, just a different set of oligarchs. What we need is true libertarian in office, and that's probably never going to happen...

  • Punish soldiers for answering orders?

    wtf?!

  • "I was just following orders" didn't stand up at Nuremberg and it didn't stand up for Lt. William Calley (I hope I spelled that right) after Mi Lai (I REALLY hope I spelled THAT right) in Viet Nam and it isn't a valid defense with torture now.

It is a soldiers duty to disobey unlawful orders. Ironically, the soldier is part of a group and dissent is desertion in the eyes of your buddies. You go along to get along or stand ALONE with your principals and hope you don't get fragged.

  • How can it be unlawful, if it was approved by your government?

  • There's the rub. They say, "Storm the hill and kill anything that moves!" THEN you get thrown under the bus. "We didn't mean ANYTHING! Geez, what were you thinking?"

I forgot to mention as well, that the soldier CAN disobey an order he feels is unlawful, however, said soldier can then be sent to the STOCKADE for disobeying said order UNTIL the mess is sorted out.

Do you know about Milgram's psych experiments? Sad and fascinating at the same time.

We do what we're told to do.

  • I applaud your passion, but would caution you to view all politicians, (ESPECIALLY those you voted for!) with suspicion and distrust. Truthfully, most politicians are corrupt and a few ethics levels below a used car salesman, and it doesn't matter whether the name is Bush or Obama.

The Constitution belongs to "We the People", the government it creates exists ONLY at the will of those people, and the 2nd Amendment is the final vote if necessary.

So keep your powder dry, we may need it!

  • True enough, they all stink but I was hoping for LESS stink and this torture BS stinks.

  • About time someone who actually lives inside the country said something about this. All I ever hear from my collegues over the pond here is how things are in America, how the economy is, how awful the war crimes are, how disgusting the way FOX behaves is. But it's all second hand, most of them haven't even watched FOX, never mind spent any time in any part of the damn country. Can't tell you how interesting and enlightening it is to hear your opinion on the matter. Oh, and I love the shirt. : )

  • Fox is so blatant that the joke is over. They are nothing but the Right wing propaganda apparatus. It's tragically comical to watch them, any of them on Fox. It's the same message every show.

They have no base and now they are rounding up all the people

  • Sorry, the rest didn't go through. To finish my though, Fox is rounding up alll of the people they've been marginalizing over the last 8 years because the right wing is desperate and dangerous.

The 180 should have given some of the Fox heads whiplash. I wouldn't be surprised if the right wing starts courting 9/11 Truthers next.

  • and we're only 3 months into this... its gonna get bad...

  • Cool thanks bro

    Peace

  • Dude, you rock! That's mighty fine point makin' yer a doin'.

  • Thanks, hunk! I want the guy to do well because then America does well. Then we ALL do well. I wouldn't travel outside the U.S. for anything right now. That's how much I fear our reputation. As a patriot, that hurts my pride.

  • I hear what you're saying about traveling abroad, but I've been about and it's not so bad. Most people understand that the American people aren't necessarily to blame for the state of it all. What concerns foreigners the most is our standard of arrogance; if you simply appear to make an attempt at learning another language or learning about another culture, you will be admired for being a 'good' American.

  • Valid point. No matter what, people all over the world still want to come here. We need to do better as a race of beings on this planet or it's all moot.

  • Sorry Torture

  • Ther r noe poynce takn offf 4 speling. It's all good.

  • You have to remember something the order came from BUSH TO TORCHER I aree with you 100% if Obama did go after them that means BUSH will go to jail first he dont want to deal with that

    Peace

  • Oh, absolutely, the order came from the top but I think Dub was told what to think. I think that man was so stupid (how stupid was he? He thought IAMBIC PENTAMETER was an Olympic event.) (sorry, couldn't resist.) I get the feeling Cheney could tell Bush what to think and then make him think it was HIS idea.

All you had to do was stroke Bush's ego and talk about God and Destiny. (You had him at God.)

  • I think its that's the idea:

Either party got each other's back.

History Repeats, Nixon Ford Pardons...Bush , Obama ignores ?

  • I'm starting to get that same sick feeling, you know? All those people from the Nixon/Ford era ran the Bush house. Cheney, Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz. All of them got away with it once and now they get away with worse. I don't know if this country will survive the next attack on our rights and freedoms. I don't know if this country will survive at all.

Why the hell won't they prosecute?

  • I'm truly praying for the good American people to wake up. Can't believe what they're putting up with. Its ridiculous , what has me very concerned is "not one world political leader is saying anything. I'm afraid for the masses of people, hyper-inflation in 30 to 90 days. Its not looking good is it ?

  • No, it isn't. We have the ability to do so much better in this world but there are greedy asses at the top who want it all.

  • Just look at the sub-prime debacle. Pure fraud and yet not one person or corporation has been charged with sweet fck all. That's where foreign investors loose confidence in the US stock market and it snowballs from there.

Audit the Fed find out what the heck they're doing otherwise your currency is toast. If it goes into hyper-inflation there's no fixing it.

  • Well done. I agree with you totally. Obama is showing weakness towards the FAR RIGHT, while he should put all of them in jail, starting with O'Raily.

  • As soon as I heard the Fox heads screaming about gun confiscation I remembered that video of Patricia Konie. The news crew asked to come in to her home and she let them in but the cops just walked in right behind the news crew without permission to enter and no warrant. She showed her gun holding it by the barrel and then asked everyone to leave her home. Instead, the police body slammed that old woman and took her gun and carried her away.

    The Bush administration did that.

  • Forgot to say, the just us joke was pretty good.

  • Of course, Obama is part of the game.

I seem to recall that a Spanish? Portugese? Court *did* want to put the Bushies on trial. Or at least one of their Attorneys.

Lots of people--not all of them yokels--demonstrated on tax day. But you are right to say the Republicans are co-opting it and exploiting it to their own ends.

  • Oh, yeah! And now they magically DON'T want to prosecute. I forgot to explain the use of the word yokel. for the last 8 years there have been people with fringe beliefs, stuff way off the bell curve, and now, just as you say, the Republicans are co-opting and exploiting them.

If you can be manipulated into repeating nonsensical crap and then get angry when you can't defend said crap with any discernible fact, that's a yokel.
