  • Nope, it's not the Bill Challis arrangement used by Bix and Tram in 1927 and Fletcher Henderson in 1931, but it nonetheless captures the spirit of the era and yes, it sounds very Hendersonesque. The typical dance band of the era had 10 pieces as opposed to 14+ of the Swing Era. I'm guessing a lot of doubling of parts here.

    No copyright date , lists Harry Sheilds H.W Ragas as composers.
