@alfvar Do you walk past a rich person's house and want to tear it down or do appreciate that someone is doing well? Not all rich people are evil. What children are taught is that whoever is successful should share whatever he has with everybody else. Not just a few things, but everything they have. Would you feel comfortable in such an environment when you are trying to achieve something? Would you achieve any success if people would constantly come into your house and steal your work?

I've never taken from "society" in terms of govt assistance, loans, or services. I put into society well over a million dollars a year with 8 full time employees and all the punitive taxation already on my business. I pay my fair share x 100 and shouldn't be responsible for your unpaid student loans and economic failures in life.

All I have to say about it is that other people don't deserve any less than what you have. Not in terms of money, but in terms of actual physical stuff, like housing and so on. @joshuawhere I'm paid for my individual merit, the fruits of my own labor, my entrepreneurial skills and the manufacturing of real world machine parts. I have employees because I can work only so many man hours a week myself. Early on it was a solo venture with myself working 100+ hours a week until I built up the capital to begin hiring help. My employees are well compensated for their service and I don't owe them anything more than that. You are responsible for yourself in life, not me.

It would be nice if it were true, but the fact is that there are lots of people who work less than you who get more and people who work more than you who get less. No matter what political views a teacher or parent has, they're always trying to form & change the beliefs & political views of children (i.e. program & brainwash them). Parents tend to be even worse influences than the teachers because parents often teach their children to hate people who aren't like themselves (people of different races, cultures, religions, political views, you name it). They selfishly spread their faults & problems to future generations without conscience.

Well...they are not going to get you but you don't know how much you have already been got, b/c the change all started with your parents. There is a push for change and if they can't change you (completely), thats ok...you are a dying generation of the old world. They want your kids...the new world generation. Spend time with your babies...spend time with your kids teaching good, STRONG, MORAL, values. Home training will be what saves your kids. Don't let public schools baby sit your kids.

@KhadaKuraki The whole point of her saying that it is NOT okay to teach value-based curriculum is that families should be teaching their children these kinds of things, not the state. That's the WHOLE point. The state has de-valued the family, weakening it, taxing it, making both parents work outside the home, leaving people poorer anyway, and then teaching the kids the values that should be taught at home. What children are taught is that whoever is successful should share whatever he has with everybody else. Not just a few things, but everything they have. Would you feel comfortable in such an environment when you are trying to achieve something? Would you achieve any success if people would constantly come into your house and steal your work?

All I have to say about it is that other people don't deserve any less than what you have. Not in terms of money, but in terms of actual physical stuff, like housing and so on. @joshuawhere I'm paid for my individual merit, the fruits of my own labor, my entrepreneurial skills and the manufacturing of real world machine parts. I have employees because I can work only so many man hours a week myself. Early on it was a solo venture with myself working 100+ hours a week until I built up the capital to begin hiring help. My employees are well compensated for their service and I don't owe them anything more than that. You are responsible for yourself in life, not me.

It would be nice if it were true, but the fact is that there are lots of people who work less than you who get more and people who work more than you who get less. You could even argue that whenever you spend money, you're depending upon the person you're paying, thus rich people are more dependent than most.

If anything, people are more dumbed down because of our mindless consumer culture. We spend more time watching tv than reading books. Our tv programs don't have any value anymore. They once had stories with morals or that made you think (Like Twilight Zone). Now it's all about who's wearing what, dating who, what new trends are out, who's fighting with who... So you waste your time trying to explain good and evil, right and wrong to people who do not believe in them. It is no different than trying to convince an atheist he is going to hell because they don't believe in heaven or hell anyways. Stop thinking so 1-dimensional and maybe you will all figure it out on your own. The symbolism is everywhere,and religions are nothing more than death cults, and yes I do include Christianity in that statement.

Capitalism turns into Communism when 5% of the countries population control all the wealth. It is just not the state that has all the money, it is large corporations, and if corporations control the government what does that make America then? The United States is nothing more than a large corporation and the people are slaves to this system. Most of whom, are completely oblivious to all of it. The men that control this world consider themselves above and beyond human concepts of good and evil.

No matter what political views a teacher or parent has, they're always trying to form & change the beliefs & political views of children (i.e. program & brainwash them). Parents tend to be even worse influences than the teachers because parents often teach their children to hate people who aren't like themselves (people of different races, cultures, religions, political views, you name it). They selfishly spread their faults & problems to future generations without conscience.

From what I could understand from her strange speech she said that: the USA Education had been changed to make children more open, acept other religions, be more openminded about sex, and to be good to the poor...
I don't see the problem in that, those are positive characteristics, not leftist, the only upsetting part about it was the secretism in wich this program of education was applied.
Obs: even after 50 years of this new education system some Americans are still very conservative.

I recognize similar things with some of my daughter's teachers.
Check out goals of Communist Party USA from 1963, Google it. Goal #17 is to gain control of the schools. Other goals include control of newspapers & broadcasting. When I came up, teachers were largely conservative or moderate. Now, 2 of my daughter's teachers ran political campaigns in the classroom.

The purpose of education is to Change the Thoughts, Actions & Feelings of people. That is what I experienced K-12. It is obvious if one pays attention to the curriculum. Oprah does that, wait a minute, most of what is seen on television does that. Most advertising does that for sure but the actual contents of shows do that too and FOX does it 24/7. FOX along w/ all Newscorp. media wants to actually either make wars happen or make wars longer and more inflamed. Murdoch admits it openly.

Well...they are not going to get you but you don't know how much you have already been got, b/c the change all started with your parents. There is a push for change and if they can't change you (completely), thats ok...you are a dying generation of the old world. They want your kids...the new world generation. Spend time with your babies...spend time with your kids teaching good, STRONG, MORAL, values. Home training will be what saves your kids. Don't let public schools baby sit your kids.

@KhadaKuraki The whole point of her saying that it is NOT okay to teach value-based curriculum is that families should be teaching their children these kinds of things, not the state. That's the WHOLE point. The state has de-valued the family, weakening it, taxing it, making both parents work outside the home, leaving people poorer anyway, and then teaching the kids the values that should be taught at home. Thus, you get communism. Godless, horrible, communism. Watch more of her stuff.
