If the free keene project went about things in a different manner, like not going to a jail and provoking the staff there they would probably have more local support. If you guys didn't barge in on Keene town staff and scheduled appointments that might help too. Just some friendly advice, please do not take it the wrong way.

Someday people will understand that parading around a jail for no reason makes no sense. The people who work at the jail do not arrest you or sentence you they make sure you are safe and fed while in custody. If you want to parade, go parade around a police dept or the courthouse they are the ones who arrest and send you to jail.
