Well made video but the 2000's cars took me out of the early 90's setting you were trying to portrait. I'm sure it wouldn't have been too difficult to film around them and only include cars which could have been seen in 1991. 80's-90's vehicles are still fairly common. The great film, "The Squid and the Whale" had this same problem, only it was more glaring as the film was set in 1986.

i would have suggested the song 'Asleep'. and a boys voice. unless that was a boys voice. in which case i apologize.

also, i doubt mark elizabeth would ever wear a crown. and the acting in the kissing scene could have been stronger.

it was good though! i liked it. just thought i'd say what I think could have made it stronger. and i love the smile at 1:33.

I personally did not enjoy the video as much as others did. The changes in scenes were much too abrupt, especially the scene where Sam and Charlie kiss. The song that played throughout didn't quite suit the video and overall it did not flow so well and it was a little difficult to follow. The effort was great and it was a good attempt.

Love the ideas, especially all the coloured shots and the umbrella sequences. The photograph slides were also fantastic; I loved the introduction of the characters at the beginning - kind of weird to see how other people imagine them!

I didn't know how I felt about the part. I first thought it was corny and didn't fit the tone of the book, but as it went on, I kind of grew to like it, and I guess it was really good to do something different.

Positives; The actress who did Sam was great, really meotional, and just fitted in perfectly.

Patrick was also good.

The whole faded in and out of the page was good too!

it was one of the requirements for the project but i definitely agree with it being better without... also, all the slides at the end... well i found it a bit much but it was all to accommodate for that stupid song :P

To be honest, this was definitly one of the better videos that i've seen for this book, but there were still some negative aspects. Such as, the actors did not really fit the physical description that we were given for these characters in the book. And a major thing, Charlie is not female, but yet a female narrated? :S

But again, definitly one of the better videos, even other videos that were school projects. =)
