@xphile77 Hahaha I had to re-read that to realised you'd used light as a curse. I think I've read this series too much. Blood and bloody ashes I HAVE read this series too much.
Don't think this fits Lan, really. He needs something of despair in his (he is the last of his kind) I think the choir went well with his character, and the militaristic thing, but these characters really deserve a full scale orchestral composition to embody them.
I love Lan and Nynaeve, but I just can't get past the fact that he's like, at least 50 years older than her....

Not to point it out, but isn't the two phrases reversed in the quote. I know Rand thinks them the other way, Death first then Duty.
