  • Hmm, I recall hearing an old rumor that the Beta Hyrule Castle was actually Peach's Castle (same layout, I mean) how well does transferring Peach's Castle work to OoT?

  • @HighPriestFuneral that rumor is not true, and Peach's Castle is one of the levels that does not convert as I recall.

    Ah, is the reason for that because of the "multi-zone" areas of the place? I would assume that to be the same problem with the Boo's Mansion?

    This is one of the few times somebody makes correct assumptions in the comments of my videos.

  • I think this video proves why SM64 levels weren't in OoT,

    Link can only jump 2 feet in the air, not 6

    to make this level playable normally, you'd probably need to add some boxes or hookshot targets as not to half to manually move link around

  • Beside people giving the most redundant comment about the transparency, cause I'm definitely sure spinout knows that needs to be fixed, but it looks like the actual mesh for the water seems to be not available, does SM64 use two maps for a level, one for water the other for the level itself?

    see, in sm64 mario got the same size at the small wooden path.

    and link (compared to mario) isnt a jump expert ;)
