the world of duel monsters has really opened up to me. before i messed up every duel i was in. now i'm an advanced duelist who can make use of any deck you give me(if it's all normal monsters vs. synchros then i'll mostly lose) I also can build decent decks (before it was like put lots of dark magicians) not only that, but i've got to know people at my school who used to be duelists themselves. Now that those days are gone i'm one of the few remaining duelists in my class and most likely school.

Oh, I dunno. 5Ds actually turned out to be pretty damn good. Quite possibly better than this season because of how more serious and darker it was. That and the characters were very well drawn and had a sence of maturity to them.

The one thing 4kids did right.

The Japanese opening is just a generic J-pop tune that doesn't sound any different from most other anime, and for that matter doesn't really suit the series' tone. This opening gives starts each episode off with an epic tone that tells the audience "Yu-Gi-Oh!" is a more grandiose and dark series than the cartoons they're used to.
